 + 0 moreJeff Walters of Cornerstone Construction (Longview, WA) did a wonderful job coordinating our new kitchen remodel. We couldn't have been happier. He was there when he said he would be and the electricians, plumbers, cabinet guys all were excellent. The kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined. I would feel very comfortable recommending him.

Description of Work: We have never used Cornerstone Construction in Longview, WA. We HAVE used Cornerstone Construction in Beaverton, OR and found them excellent. Kitchen remodel, three bathrooms, laundry room, roofing...they have been fair, reasonable, on budget and on time. I recommend them highly. I do not know the Longview company.

 + 1 moreThe process was typical with a few bumps here and there, not the contractors fault, mostly vendors for tile, etc. between the basement project and the shower it was about a month. Just remember anytime you do a project and a bathroom is involved there will be inconvenience. Even if you have more then 1 full bath , it is still going to trip you up a bit. All in all great work, friendly people that I was not afraid to have in our home, all of the work turned out amazing and better than it looked before. they even kept an eye on the indoor cat. Would definitely hire them again .
Description of Work: Our Master bathroom shower leaked , which happened to be just above our basement family room. WHen the insurance adjuster came out and assessed the damage I was floored. he was quoting me 20K just for the basement floor , 2 walls , and 1/2 of the ceiling. Not to mention all of the "other" issues he felt needed to be taken care of. We had plumbers out and were told the whole shower needed to be replaced as well. We called Jeff @ Cornerstone and all was taken care of no problem. The basement was fixed first , all of the damaged drywall was taken out and Service Master came in to make sure there was no underlying mold issues. The area was taped off and it took about 2 days for it to dry, then in came Jeff and his crew to make sure all was well and fix the drywall spaces. The walls were finished up wall and there is no show of previous damage, then the floor went in and two coats of paint later it was better than before. Next project was the shower. We decided to go with tile as I was afraid that the same issues would happen again over time. The tile guys did an amazing job, they even made friends with the cat, I think. They made sure to cover the floor all the way from the front door to the master bath so that when they were done you could not even tell they had been in the house. Jeff kept us informed through out the whole project , by text, email and or phone. Which was nice being a working family.

 + -1 moreDID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY GAVE US VERY HIGH QUALITY RESULTS AND WERE PROMPT AND FAIR IN THEIR ESTIMATES AND PRICING. OUR HOME LOOKS GREAT AND IS NOW RESISTANT TO THE WET WEATHER WE HAVE HERE.
Description of Work: HIRED THIS CONSTRUCTION FIRM TO REDO THE SIDING ON THE OUTSIDE OF OUR HOUSE AND PAINT IT ALONG WITH SOME OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORK.
