Champs Tree Service

We live up on a ridge and the wind gets to blowing pretty hard. We considered actually taking down those ceders because they were pretty big. Artie/Arthur, of Champs, said, "no, don't take them down. They really aren't a danger". He's been cutting trees for so many years, he knows a good tree from a bad tree. He said, "all you really need to do is reduce all the sail area by clipping out some of those limbs and cutting up the trunk a little ways to get a little better air flow and then even the branches that might come off won't cause a problem". So, we followed his advice and we felt that it was very sound advise and my husband isn't a forester. It was obvious to my husband that Mr. Champ knows his business. They took out, certainly, three trees. They beat out one other person who was an estimate by several hundred dollars. We had three estimates. They beat one of them and the other one was a little lower, but I didn't feel the confidence. He was worth it. He showed up when he said he would. He gave a good estimate and it was a free estimate. I don't remember feeling concerned his being late: he and his crew. I think that was a good experience too. They were punctual.

They have always been very professional. We have had them a couple of times. They clean up after themselves and have been very conscientious about what they are doing around their home. They get in and get the job done. They do not waste time when they are with you.

Artie responded quickly when asked for an estimate and did a thorough job grinding the pin oak stump at my mother's house. I arranged for all contractor work and pay her bills.

Artie Champ and his employees did exactly what was promised, with little muss and fuss. They were friendly and helpful and did the work for us at a fair price. I would hire them again without a second thought.

It was a sad day when these guys finished the job, which took two days. They were really, really, really nice guys to have on the property. They were careful and did excellent work. They took their time, and in this dangerous line of work, they seemed to care about each others welfare. We liked them so much we bought them good pizza on their last day here. For all they did, their price was fabulous. I hate to gush on, but I miss em.

DID A GREAT JOB OVERALL. BROUGHT IN THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO GET WAY UP INTO THE TREE TO CUT IT, CLEANED UP THEIR MESSES, WERE VERY POLITE, AND TRIED NOT TO DISTRACT OTHERS.

COMPANY CAME OUT LAST WINTER AND CUT UP AND REMOVED A VERY LARGE BROKEN LIMB THAT HAD FALLEN NEAR MY HOUSE ON MY PROPERTY. THEY WERE QUICK AND WERE REASONABLE. THE OWNER WAS A GREAT GUY.

CAME OUT WITH MAIN LIFT AND PRUNED TREE FROM TOP FIRST. CUT TREE DOWN IN SECTIONS TO AVOID DAMAGING PROPERTY. USED A MACHINE TO REMOVE TRUNK FROM GROUND. DID A GOOD JOB AND FAST.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH CHAMPS TREE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. THE PRICE WAS GOOD. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWESOME. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

VERY FAST AT ALL THAT THEY DID, DID A GREAT JOB AND WAS CAUTIOUS OF WHERE THE TREES LANDED WHEN WERE CUT DOWN. CLEANED UP YARD AND TOOK ALL OF THE MESS AWAY.

THEY WERE SO BRAVE, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN HOW TALL THEY WENT AND REMOVED THOSE HUGE BRANCHES ONE AT A TIME, THEY WERE MARVELOUS. VERY HONEST, DEPENDABLE AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE.

THEY WERE AMAZING. THEY HAD THIS HUGE TRUCK THAT LIFTED HIM WAY UP TO THE TREE CAREFULLY REMOVING EACH BRANCH AT A TIME. VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH THE TREES AND THE SERVICE THAT HE PROVIDES.

VERY COOL DUDE, HE IS REALLY PROFESSIONAL, A RISK TAKER, YOU WOULDNT CATCH ME UP THERE DOING WHAT HE DOES. HIS PRICING IS RIGHT AND DOES A PERFECTIONIST JOB.

THEY WERE VERY EXCITING TO WATCH! THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ON TIME. WE HAD TWO TREES REMOVED AND THEY LEFT NO MESS AT ALL, YOU COULD HARDLY EVEN TELL THEY WERE HERE.

WE CALLED THEM OUT WHEN THINGS STARTED TO BECOME OVERGROWN, THEY TRIMMED TREES AND SHRUBS BACK TO MANAGEABLE PROPORTIONS. THEY HAD A VERY FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL CREW.

VERY PLEASED, COMPANY WAS VERY COURTEOUS, PUNCTUAL, PRICED WELL WITH IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. HAD JOB DONE WITHIN HOURS AND CLEANED UP TOO. PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION OF JOB.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, HAD THE RIGHT TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE JOB. PROMPT, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY GENTLEMEN WHO SHOWED EXCELLENT WORK ETHICS. A FRIEND OF OURS ACTUALLY REFERRED THIS COMPANY TO US.

THEY WERE QUICK TO GET THIS STUMP REMOVED. FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND DIDNT LEAVE A BIG MESS BEHIND FOR US TO CLEAN UP. IT WAS QUICKER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.

THAT IS A PRETTY SCARY JOB THERE. VERY BRAVE, SMART KNOWLEDGEABLE WORKERS IN THIS LINE OF WORK. DETAIL ORIENTED AND DID A GREAT JOB OF REMOVING THE STUMP AND CLEANUP OF ALL THE TREE REMAINS.

THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE APPOINTMENT ON US. THEY DID STAY WITHIN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT. THEY CLEANED UP MOST OF THE MESS, BUT DID LEAVE WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER A HIGHER THAN NORMAL STUMP.

WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. PROMPT AND WORKED QUICKLY. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS WHEN FINISHED WITH THE JOB. WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND RESPECTFUL OF US AND NEIGHBORS BY MAKING SURE THEY WOULD NOT BE BLOCKING ROAD WAY OR ANYTHING. WHEN PULLED INTO OUR YARD THEY MADE SURE IT WAS OK FIRST.
