 + -1 moreThey provided me with detailed explanation of what was necessary and what could be done at a later date. The costs were carefully reviewed and authorized before hand. I have never been so comfortable with such polite and thorough staff. I have found it necessary to stop in for minor repairs like a light out and they replaced it immediately and I was on my way. I am so lucky to have found Arts Automotive! My 13 year old truck runs perfectly now.
Description of Work: My diesel truck needed several repairs to lights, transmission, brakes and ball joints, fan and I'm sure something else I'm not remembering.

Description of Work: They have checked my electrical system when I was having dead batteries. They found it was a battery condition issue. They also repaired the air conditioning in to 2006 Toyota Tundra pick up. They identified that there was a hose leak, replaced it, and recharged the system.

Description of Work: They solved a complicated intermittent electrical/ignition problem on my RV. They are the best automotive and electrical service I've found in the past 45 years in the Longview/Kelso community. They are a pleasure to work with.

 + 0 moreIt went very well. They were able to make the repairs, and it involved taking much of the dash apart. When we got the car home, another device failed. They had us bring it right back, and an electrical connection had just come loose. But, they found an intermittent short in our trunk light, and fixed that as well, at no extra charge. By the way, they have changed their name to Art's Automotive, from Art's Electric. They haven't lost their electrical expertise.
Description of Work: 1995 Camry with 226,000 miles developed an electrical problem. The electrical schematic is no longer available on this old car, so they had to trace the wiring of the multiple devices that had failed. They were able to repair the problems, and found other electrical problems that we didn't know we had.

 + -1 moreExcellent service from my initial telephone call through pick-up of my vehicle. Friendly and well versed in autos. Art's was able to see me immediately and the vehicle was completed when they said it would be.
Description of Work: My Subaru would periodically not start. Having it jumped several times resulted in inconsistent results. Art's Electric was recommended to me by an employee at the local Subaru dealer. I was able to have the car looked at immediately. They did a complete electrical inspection for free and determined the problem was a faulty battery connection. This connection was replaced for a grand total of $36.00 and I've had no problems since.

 + -1 moreTHEY ARE A VERY PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AND THEY DO THEIR WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY EVEN ALLOWED US TO LEAVE OUR MOTOR HOME THERE OVER THE WEEK-END SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO RETURN EARLY FROM VACATION.
