It's spring time, and the search for new roof has begun! As a lady homeowner that lives alone, having strange menfolk coming to my house and looking around is not my favorite thing ever. You just have to be extra careful, but at the same time, you have to let strangers have access to your home if you want the work done. Keith Fuqua from the Liberty Lake, WA office came to write up an estimate for me, and he was basically what I wanted in this type of situation. Very nice, easy going, didn't try to bluster or drown me in technical terms. We stood outside and talked a bit, in no rush, and I came the conclusion he wasn't a serial killer, and we started on the estimate. 

Before Keith came, he did his homework and looked up my house on the mapping system contractors use (Sky something, it escapes me at the moment). He got up on the roof and looked around, and the took a look at my attic, all the time telling me what exactly he was looking for. I just had an full inspection done less than a year ago, and he didn't fake seeing problems that weren't there, or make anything sound worse than it was. After that Keith and I sat down, and he busted out the literature. This was really great, I must say. Reve obviously trains their salesmen really well, but in the process the prospective clients get a really good education. I learned quite a bit I did't know from my own research, and I've ended up using that information with (and against) other bidders. He had a big binder with 3rd party roofing information, statistics, details of how roofing works, and how Reve's roofing works. He freely stated that Reve was a bit more expensive that your average company, but it was clear the quality of the product, the quality of the customer service, and the quality of their warranty make it worth it.

The day after Keith visited, I had two other companies come out, and their appointments ended up overlapping by 5 minutes or so. The 1st contractor got huffy with me and left before we had really talked about everything because "clearly I was busy," and the second contractor spend his time telling how bad the other guy was, and much harder he works. They then, I'm told, got in in a texting fight, and the 2nd contracted called me back to shout at me about it! Maybe he was apologizing? I couldn't tell. Keith, your customer service shines.

I still haven't finished looking. In all honesty, I really want a metal roof because I think they are snazzy, and I'm waiting for a few more bids to come in to decide which way to go. Its a lot of money, and I want to be sure. Keith was really gracious about it, and he's going to call me back in a month or so to check up on me. So while I haven't purchased Reve's roof and gutters yet, they are number 1 on my list. Keith was great, and I just wanted to make sure I did a review while it was fresh in my mind. 

We met with Richard Macklin to discuss installing a GAF roofing system on our house. I was concerned about a leak that had appeared inside the house and didn't know if I needed a fix or a whole new roof. After discussing what was actually happening on top of our house, we decided instead of patching an existing problem with the kind of materials that failed, we wanted a solution that we wouldn't have to worry about. Richard went through every detail about the GAF roofing product and why it would not fail the same way the existing roof had. He was extremely knowledgeable, had all the information and materials necessary to answer all our questions. He took care of my concerns about using unskilled workers and learned about certification training that is mandatory and explained how they tie themselves off on steep roofs like mine. I know more about roofs than I ever thought possible. I am always looking at roofs now. I was impressed with his professionalism and presentation. I will add a follow up review once the roof is installed.

The sales rep was punctual and very professional. Were were impressed by the presentation and quality of window products. Overall we appreciated our experience.

Best windows. Cost a lot but well worth the investment. Super quit in the house (house is next to a very busy and loud road). They look like real wood windows. Great company taught me a lot about windows.

Most informed salesman. Help explain the hole roof system. Install was very professional, on time and very clean. Roof looks great with a great warranty.

There financing went through and their staff was more than professional, on-time and we are excited by the warranty.  I would highly suggest them as a contractor as their sales staff took the time to get to know us, our home, and our goals and explained how their products could help!
