FOX'S TREE SVC

We called this company to have someone come out to give us a price on cutting down an alder tree that was hanging over some power lines. Yes, we can and probably will do it ourselves, but since there are powerlines involved we thought a professional was the way to go. Once he came out to give us an esitmate, he said the power company, who previously have told us it isn't their problem, would be happy to cut it down free of charge. We explained what the power company said and he still refused saying when the tree fell enough to take out the power lines, the power company would take care of it. Personally, I don't want to wait until that happens in a storm, etc. to sit without power waiting on the power company to take care of the situation. He then began a long dissertation about tree preservation, etc. and refused to do the job. BTW - he didn't even know he was on Angie's List and didn't care about that either.

He is terrific. He is a very experienced tree man and does not use spikes when he climbs the tree. He is very knowledgeable. He has worked on some diseased tree and taken out trees. It is just amazing to watch him work. His price is competitive.
