I'm on a yearly contract. I just started using them. It went very good. They are very easy to deal with and they are very knowledgeable. I first had them come out and do some repair work and I had them clean my ducts. I also had them give me a checkup on my furnace and heat pump unit. They did a very good job.

I think that they know what their doing. But he seems really quick, and I have an old heat pump and furnace. My brother's heat pump and furnace is old, and it worked for a long time. I'm probably not going to use them again, it depends who I can get out to do it for less.

Very thorough approach to job. Even detected problem with the furnace unit that is still covered by the warranty and will be repaired without any cost. Rated them somewhat down on punctuality since on they were unable to fulfill appointment on the first day scheduled since prior job was not completed until after 5PM and we could not wait any longer on that night. Crew was on time for the rescheduled appointment.

Very pleased with the assistance we received from the female technician that visited us today. We had a furnace that wouldn't stay lit. She is very knowledgeable and skilled in her ability to troubleshoot the issue, and communicate her plan clearly and professionally. Considering the last minute nature of our call, we feel very fortunate to have called Pacific Air Systems. We'll definitely call again and refer them to others.

They have a good price. It took them a while to get there. They were there when they said they would. Their professionalism was fine. There was just on worker that came out and it took him less than 45 minutes to do the work. They explained what they were doing and it was what I expected to be then.

They were very expensive. Their workmen showed up on time and they did such a great job that I was willing to pay two or three times more than the going rate. What stood out was their quality! Surprisingly enough, several of the people I contacted for the work, did admit that they were the best, although they were expensive.

Good service and good technicians for yearly servicing but then they raised their prices by only servicing EITHER the heat pump OR the furnace but kept price the same as it used to be for both. That made the price twice what it was before! It was a tricky move. ? And we had been with this company for many years. Then when we asked them to give us an estimate on a new furnace and heat pump, it was TWICE THE AMOUNT of the other 4 estimates we received. Not worth the price to stay with this company.

I was selling my house and called Pacific Air Systems to check my furnace and central air conditioner. Both systems were old but worked well. The first technician found one item that needed to be replaced on the furnace, the central air system was fine. He ordered the part and also suggested that I pay for a maintenance agreement. He explained that with the maintenance agreement the part and service would be cheaper. I went ahead with his suggestion and paid in full. The part was ordered and a different technician arrive to install the replacement part. Before replacing the part, he checked the furnace and found another issue that the first technician didn?t fine. He suggested a new furnace explaining that with the agreement and paying for the two replacement parts a new furnace wasn?t that much more. Ok, I?m selling the house and decided a new furnace would be a good selling point and went ahead with his recommendation.
During the paperwork process, I noticed that I was being charged in full, even though I had already paid for the first part that wasn?t installed. I pointed this out and he removed the cost. I then asked him to also adjust the taxes since I had also paid the tax on the first part. This was done.
Next person to arrive was the sales person. He explained the furnace / cost and that we would require a bollard due to the placement of the furnace in the garage. This was at an additional cost but was required to pass inspection. The furnace and bollard were ordered and I paid in full.
The furnace arrives, and is installed. The technician reviews the furnace and paperwork with me. Explaining that an inspection needed to be scheduled. He asked if I wanted to request the inspection for "am or pm". I live an hour away and asked for am. Before he left he gave me the inspection date and ?am? desired timeframe. He suggested that I call early on the day of the inspection and that they may be able to help pin down the timeframe.
I called Pacific Air Systems early as suggested to check on the timeframe of the inspection. They were not able to tell me anything saying that they do not control this and said that the paperwork didn?t show I requested a ?am or pm? timeframe.  Frustrated I got in my car and drove 1.5hrs (heavy traffic) to get to the house so I didn?t miss the inspector. After about 4hrs, I called Pacific Air Systems, and again was told that they have no control of this. I waited a couple more hours and call them again said they needed to do something to help. Again, she said no.
About 10 minutes after this last call to Pacific Air Systems. I received a call from a third party that schedules the inspections for Pacific Air Systems (she made a point to say she doesn?t work for them, I wouldn?t either). Well as it turns out, Pacific Air Systems NEVER sent in the inspection request. I was at an empty house for 7hrs for an inspection that was never scheduled. The rep was very helpful and realized that Pacific Air Systems dropped the ball and sadly all she could do was schedule the inspection. Her customer service was over the top. She made sure I had a date and timeframe for the inspection and even followed up the day of the inspection. That?s customer service!
During the long 7hr wait, I noticed that the bollard wasn?t installed. This concerned me since Pacific Air Systems said it was required, and I paid $275.66 for it as well. It turns out it wasn?t required (confirmed by the inspector), I asked Pacific Air Systems for a full refund. During the refund process, I was ?accidentally? charged an additional cost of $251.75. When my credit card company notified me of this charge, I call Pacific Air Systems asking what this additional charge was for and why had I not received my $275.66 refund. They explained it was made in error and that they were refunding me. It took their bank 10 days to release the refunds now a total of $527.41.
Before you even ?think? of using Pacific Air Systems I would suggest you shop around, as I wish I had. There are many more ethical companies to work with.
