About us

Northwest Abatement Services, Inc. has been a local, family-owned company, striving to be leaders in the industry while working in abatement services since 1994. We specialize in the inspection, removal, and disposal of environmental toxins, such as asbestos, lead, and mold. We have worked on many types of buildings and structures, everything from small residential jobs to large commercial jobs. Additionally, we provide indoor air quality services, including air duct, dryer vent, and furnace cleaning. We also have a fire and water mitigation and restoration division that specializes in returning structures to their pre-loss conditions. It's not what we do, it's how we do it.

NORTHWEST ABATEMENT SERVICES INC did an Excellent job for me today inspecting and cleaning my dryer vents here in Puyallup. I booked the appointment with Paul, and then Victor was the tech who came to do the work. Great communication - he showed me before and after pictures. The results arrived 5 weeks later.  The results serve no purpose at such a late date as when the painters came (long ago), they couldn't remove the popcorn ceiling without the necessary test results.  So we still have the popcorn ceiling and are out $25.00.  The owner was supposed to call me when he got back from vacation but never did.  When I finally connected with him, he refused to refund my money and accepted no responsibility for his company's errors or incompetence.  I quote from his last correspondence:  "Sorry that the information was not passed onto to you in a timely manner!"  Unbelievable!

Called back to get an ozone cleaning filter and was given the run around on the phone. Terrible customer service. They did show up very quickly before but getting them here....not recommended.

CONTAINMENT AREA, MOLD ABATEMENT, AND NEGATIVE PRESSURE AREA WERE ALL PART OF THIS PROCESS TO REMOVE MOLD. PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE WORKERS. TOOK CARE TO PROTECT THE AREAS NOT INVOLVED AND WORKED WELL WITH CONSULTANT. MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE COMPANY I INTERVIEWED WHO DOES THIS ALL THE TIME.
