Mountain Moving and Storage

Everything went very smooth. They wore masks and worked quickly but carefully to move our things in a timely manner. They kept in good communication prior to moving day. We would definitely hire Mountain Moving and Storage again. Peter was great to work with.

They came out and gave me an estimate of time to load all of my 3 bedroom house into their truck and put it into their storage facility. When the actual movers came out, it all went very smoothly. The 3 man crew inventoried all of my belongings, wrapped my furniture, and packed it into crates in their truck. The guys did it in even less time than the estimator thought, and only charged me for the hours they worked. Hiring movers is worth every penny, and these guys are awesome!

They did a great job. No scratches but they used a lot of paper in the process!

It has gone very well so far. There is one more shipment to come out of storage and I am sure it will be good as well.

They did show up on time and the price was good. When they followed me through Gig Harbor to our new home, we got to the first round about, we went left, they went straight. Took about 5-10 minutes for them to show back up again. I did get them pizza for their lunch break. Their lunch break was 30 minutes but seemed a lot longer then that. They scrapped our hallway when moving some things in. The gentleman that they sent to repair the damage to the furniture did a really good job fixing it. After unpacking, we realized that some of the boxes that they provided us with were covered in dust and got all over our clothes.

Great! They even lent us boxes. I had never seen that before. They were punctual. Gave us the "Red Carpet" treatment (they roll a neoprene "carpet" on all the high traffic areas and cover all the stairs with an adhesive plastic sheet). We have many sensitive antiques and all the workers were very skilled and careful. I didn't feel apprehensive for a moment. We had absolutely no damage or losses. It was a perfect move and I would highly recommend them. We have done 6 moves with the military and this one is at the top. This time was on our own dime and it was a great value with total peace of mind. Our team was Jesus, Max, Sean, Issac, and T. The appraisal was done by Doug and he even wore shoe covers to walk through the house.

We had more volume than anticipated because garage sale did not go as well as hoped...and still they finished faster than quoted and we only paid for time.

I was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 story house on the other side of the city. Overall I was happy with their service as the workers were friendly and worked quickly. One of the reps came out and gave me an estimate for 4.5 hours and when the workers showed up on the day of the move they gave me an estimated 6 - 6.5 hours for the move including their drive time back to their office. I was a little unhappy with the inaccuracy of the estimator but they worked quick and finished in 6 hours with the 3 guys. My biggest complaint was that they damaged one of my walls when moving the last piece of the couch into the house and took a chunk of the paint and drywall off of our hallway wall. They were very apologetic, but it is not what you want to see done to a band new house. I do not know if I would use them again, and might try to find someone more professional if we moved again.

I used them about a year ago, and they did well. But, when I called to have them help me move again the prices were too high, and they did not even show up to help my niece move. I am very disappointed. I would not use them again.

The truck arrived as expected.  Tim and Rich introduced themselves.  They scoped out what was going, taking note of a few things that were staying so I could clean, and got work.  They took one brief break while they were packing the van, but otherwise kept going at a fast pace.  I would have bet they couldn't get everything in the truck, but they did!  They followed me to the new place and unloaded at an amazing speed.  When they gave me the final bill, it came in $250 less than the estimate because of the level of proficiency exhibited by these two young men.

Before the move, I picked up boxes to help with the packing.  My parents had some furniture stored with Mountain from a previous move and we sorted through those items with the help of the movers to see what  would be useful in the new apartment. Those things were loaded on the moving van and the next morning they showed up to begin the move.
They were on time, respectful of the neighbors, cheerful and careful.  But the move took more time then they had thought it would because my parents and aunt still needed help with the packing, and because they had more stuff then any of us could imagine.   They worked all day loading up the  van  and  arrived at the community to find the elevator crowded with the residents  going down to meals.  The movers made sure that the residents were not inconvenienced - they cleared the elevators quickly and remained cheerful and  kind.  A second truck came with back up movers to help and they worked hard until 7pm when the last items were delivered.  Everything arrived in perfect condition.  They were careful that  my parents and aunt were safe and beds were put together before they left.  These guys were gentlemen.  Our family is very grateful.
