Ian came over to give estimate & gave flat quote w/ understanding that once demo started there might be more issues. We agreed to terms gave him 1/2 $$ up front. Scheduled to work 3 days later. He came & left after 1 hour. 23 days later w/ hardly any communication, we agreed to meet me at Lowes 7:30am. 90 mins no show, texted/called him several times w/out response. 2 1/2hr later he finally showed up. I bought supplies. He loaded truck & 3 hrs. showed up at my house stating he took lunch, then demoed for 4 hrs then asked for more $$! 2 days later he shows up late w/ no texts/calls & works 7 hrs, said he would be back next day to finish, never showed up. Next day showed up after several requests for eta, arrived at 2pm & worked to 6:30, then texted for more $$ said job would be complete in next 3 days. We have not seen him yet. He texted us last night asking for more $$ & he would be at ours 8am sharp with helper to complete work. I texted at 8:30am no response, phone turned off.
Description of Work: We removed an exterior door and we had water damage and rot. Carpenter was supposed to remove rot and restore subfloor, deck ledger and rim joist. Never did any of the work.
