The good things definitely outweigh the bad!  Mike said that he would like to get the floor done in 2 days but that I should count on 4 days just in case.  He got it mostly done in two days with only about 2 hours of work on the third day.  That was impressive!!  I also thought he was very knowledgeable about different floor coverings and styles.  The installation was SO smooth!  He made it SO easy for us to choose a floor by lending us all kinds of samples, etc.  The only real complaint was that they ran out of materials partway through the job.  This wasn't too big of a deal because there was a local pickup for more flooring; however, the extra materials and labor ended up making the job between 10% and 15% more expensive than originally quoted.  This was partly my fault because I suggested on the first meeting that we work the floor around the cash wrap (it was a store where the floor was installed) and ultimately I forgot this and moved the cash wrap so that is could have a floor under it.  But the amount of extra floor needed was more than just what was under the cash wrap.  Mike said that he thought that there were more things that we were going to work around, but it was always my vision to have the entire middle of the store floored, even though he suggested when he made the estimate that we work around it (which I never agreed to).  I would definitely use Floor Art again and I would suggest this business to all of my friends and family.  His staff was also great; super hard working and friendly.  Mike is a really social person who could get along well with anyone.  He did a bunch of extra work for free and offered to do more than I took him up on.  All in all, a great experience.

I had some questions after the job was finished and asked him if he would stop by and look at the floor. He came back and redid the surface without me asking him to. He went above my expectations.
