Classy Chassis is a family owned business serving Pierce County since 1985. Starting with owner Corey Campbell, it has now grown to 40+ employees. We are very involved in our community, offering fundraisers for local non-profits and schools. We also are environmentally conscious - recycling our car wash water and recycling oil from our lube shop to heat the water and building. We offer special promotions, including the VIP Club which gives great discounts to club members. Our email customers receive special promotions as well. We also offer military, senior, government and fleet discounts. Every month we have specials in all departments. Customers can purchase Wash Books to save on multiple car wash services. Classic Coffee offers daily drink and food specials. xPress Lube has "Wild Wednesdays" which gives customers additional discounts/offers and gives all customers a free soda, water or coffee, free snacks for the kids, stay in your car and a free car wash. I chose a service that would clean a Honda Civic from "stem to stern" only to find that the trunk was not done. When I called to inquire why the trunk had not been vacuumed, they replied ,"That's extra". $3.00 to be precise. When I pointed out that my minivan has the trunk included, they said, "Yes, but there is a $2.00 surcharge for over-sized vehicles". So why is a Honda Civic $3.00 considering the trunk is far smaller than the trunk of a Sedona's.
They recently increased their prices by at least $2.00. The "Wash-n-Shine" says it includes an Air Freshener, which was not provided. They also claim that with this service they will clean/blow out the cup holders, which was not done, vacuum, which was done, but poorly and the trunk was not included. The tires were "dressed" but sloppily. The dashboard was cleaned and looked nice. In order for them to wipe down the doors on the inside, that would have cost extra as well.
While I waited inside, they came to ask if I wanted the upholstery express service done. I asked how much that would cost to which they replied, "$10.00 per row". When I asked if that included the small panel on the doors in that particular row, they said, "No, that is extra as well". $10.00 per door! Ridiculous, considering the door has only a very small part that has upholstery on it, the rest is plastic. In other words, for our Honda Civic the express upholstery service would have cost us $60.00. That's outrageous.
Sadly, it's time to find a better Car Wash/Auto Detailing service.
