Joe (the owner) came out first to give us a quote. We live in the boonies, it's a tough road, and not all servicemen come out here (There's a gravel company in the area that won't drive out here because our road is so bad.) Also, we have two small dogs and 2 cats, and he was so nice to them!
We also knew that because it had been so long since replacing our roof, there may be leaks and rot that needed fixing. Joe was very up front about all the possible problems he may encounter.  He went through our options and was very knowledgeable, taking time to explain it to us in a way we could understand.
They began work on the roof right away, and completed the job in a timely manner. These guys work hard, they worked in the rain (tarping and untarping areas- more work but gets the job done quicker for the customer), and they even answered the phone when we called after hours.
Nightly, they cleaned up using the huge magnet tool, as well as doing a pickup by hand. We also have many plants around the house that didn't get damaged at all.
They ended up finding multiple spots of rot and had to replace several areas under the roof. Joe advised us on the best way to fix it with longevity in mind. It took a little longer because our roof had some problems, but our new roof LOOKS SO GOOD! With the rains here in the northwest, it's so nice to know our roof is well made. We would hire Joe with Roofing Quality Northwest again in a heartbeat.

He only likes to work in this area. He did a great job. He was the only one to offer a roofing product that had a mold deterrent. The warranty was ten years for the mold deterrent and thirty-five-years for the roof. I had three estimates and everybody came in very high and usually I don't take the lowest bid. He did two other houses in the block and did an unbelievable job. He put the skylight in our roof at no cost. He did it as an incentive to get the job. He even came back to check the roof and make sure that everything was lying flat and see if he didn't miss anything. He cleaned up very well. We didn't have a scrap of roofing anywhere to be found. The five days he was there, he chewed up the other two guys who were working with him if they didn't have the roofing spaced the way he wanted. He brought over a sample that was almost a quarter of an inch unlike the others who had paper thin samples. He used only nails that had adhesive and not staples. He wanted the job and he was here. He estimated, came out and looked at it and called back. He was recommended by my neighbors and I have already recommended him to other people. He is now doing my sister-in-law's roof.
