It's been 14 months since we had our hardwood floors installed, and we are loving it so much and are very satisfied! I had Goss Floors install hardwoods in my whole house. Owner was great to work with, very responsive, very good to answer any questions along the way. Crew was professional and friendly and took great care of my house. The floors look beautiful. I highly recommend them to family and friends!

City of Kirkland prosecutor filed charges for theft after being shown video evidence of the owner in my master bathroom (there are no hardwood floors on that floor of the home). This was during the second time of Goss Floors refinishing the floors to fix the problems from the first time, which still exist even after the second attempt.

Beautiful . They achieved the whitewash oak stain we wanted perfectly. Jim is very professional as are his workers. Not to mention very nice people. They worked around our schedule and tolerated our dogs! We wish we could hire them again but our floor is done! Professional, conscientious!

Goss was one of several flooring contractors I contacted. He offered a very good price. The highest quote was several thousand more than his. Unlike his competitors Goss required a longer acclimation for the flooring both before and after install. From a talk with a friend who is a general contractor this is the right way to do it.  He said that many cut the time needed. Not Goss.
The initial estimate went fine and Jim Goss was prompt with his appt and sending the quote. I asked for a different floor vent which Jim was not aware of but he researched it and was willing to add them to his quote for a small extra cost. The flooring arrived about a week before the tear out and Jim and his crew arrived promptly on the day to begin. I work from home and they were willing to work with me to the extent that they were willing to skip one day because of a crucial meeting that I had to host online.
The work went quickly and the crew was great. When Jim was not present he kept me in formed of any changes and was a fast response to a text.  Before stain application we were given the chance to see samples on the floor. We had to move out for the Swedish finish, a total of over 3 days,  and then another 5 days before we could get our furniture moved back To ensure a good cure time for the finish.  
All all in all we are extremely pleased with the work done and the quality and flexibility that Jim and his workers showed. I would highly recommend them for any job.

Jim and his crew were awesome! The quoting process was easy and straight-forward. Jim was flexible throughout the entire job, especially when we found some very unexpected pressboard where original hardwood should have been. He also took time to explain the work and the necessary timing. Our new house was in very good hands. I would easily hire Jim and his team again. Thank you guys for the great work refinishing the original floor and blending it with the new one.

They were excellent, because the one I had before was a piste. I think I wrote about it. They were awful, but these people were wonderful. The other company just did not know how to do floors, and they were, finally my insurance company would pay for it, but the other company, I can't remember their name because I just don't want to hear about them anymore. They didn't know how to do the finish, and it was tacky, it was rough, it was whatever, and they just truly didn't know what they were doing, but Goss was really good and they had to re-do it of course and we had the pack out again, but it was really worth it. They did a wonderful job, and then they recommended some people that he said they used to do the finish. They were really good.

Chose Jim to refinish our 100 year old fir floors and we could not be happier with his work.  After many estimates we chose Goss Floors based on his years of experience and his obvious knowledge of older wood floors.  Jim's attention to detail was amazing. Our job had some issue due to the age of the floors and he worked very hard to give us the best possible outcome.  Jim is a super nice guy and we actually really enjoyed having him here- a huge plus when you have a big job like ours that takes a bit of time.  I would not hesitate to use Goss Floors in the future and would recommend JIm very highly. Our floors are AWESOME!

Goss was the only one who showed stain samples and told us about the built in floor vents. They also are the only ones who do 3 coats of the Swedish finish and they were much less than their competitors. We have already recommended them and will use them next time!

Jim Goss is absolutely fabulous. the floors turned out wonderful, the new wood match to the old wood is great, and we were able to darken the color of the floors and swedish coat to finish.
