There were some issues with the salesman and there was also in the project itself with the trimming with a row of the laurel bushes. They omitted a piece or two that they shouldn't have, but this is where the A came in. I called the company and said: "Hey, I kind of thought they were gonna do this part too.". He apologized and brought somebody out, and they took care of it right away.

Davey Tree sent someone out to assess our situation and provide a bid. All was done exactly as discussed: a fir and cedar were removed, with the chips left on my property, and the wood cut into designated lengths and left here. A holly was also to be taken down, and the chips removed. There was no confusion over the chips - what to take and what to leave, even tho the man who was here to write up the bid was not here when the workmen came to do the work. Communication was very clear.

They arrived on time and worked very professionally. I love the job they did. Now these two maple trees look very nice and elegant.

Steve the arborist was prompt, friendly, efficient.  Gina the admin/office contact was also very friendly and helpful.  Job was completed as scheduled.  All in all, the tree service itself was great.
However, the slight hiccup was that they outsource the wood hauling.  The outsourced guys did remove the wood.  And Gina made great effort to communicate the schedule with me.  But two panels of my cedar fence were removed instead of one (one was agreed upon) and were not replaced properly (just propped back leaning against the other panels, and fell down).  Someone came and fixed one back when I told Gina (which is good, very responsive), but the other was left propped up, fell over and got soaked through that one evening it snowed.  I had to replace the fence.  Hopefully they'll do their wood hauling themselves in the future or outsource to a company with the same quality to avoid service dissonance.
Regardless, would use again.

They were punctual, professional and cleaned up exceptionally well. |They were not the least expensive, but the company with the most respect from other local gardening service companies.

The crew from Superior Tree & Shrub Care, Inc. was awesome (my neighbors came out to watch them).  They were very professional yet with a great attitude.  They worked together as if they were one. The crew was not only professional in their attitude and work, but were client friendly, which I look for in people I do business with.  When the work was concluded, they did the cleanup work very expeditiously.  I told them that I would be calling them in the near future for some other tree service and I jokingly said "I hope when you hear that I called that you won't run out of the office screaming and holding your head" (lol).  They laughed and told me they look forward to it. My neighbors and I all asked for the business cards.

The crew that came to our house were very professional and friendly.  Watching them work was impressive as well, and when they were finished our yard was cleaner than before they arrived.  We definitely got our money's worth.  Our trees have never looked better or healthier, plus we have more sun in our back yard now too.  This is a great company that was referred to me by a coworker.  He's used them for years and would not use anyone else.  Now I feel the same way.  I want the company that services my trees to actually care about the trees as well.  With Superior NW Tree & Shrub I found just such a company.

I was referred to Superior NW by NurseryTrees.com. Superior sent out their arborist, who took his time to review and fully understand what I wanted done. He was professional and pleasant to deal with. I did this after contacting a few different firms about removing the trees before planting new trees down the side of my yard for privacy. Superior supplied a very detailed quote which was competitive. I decided to go with them as I found them by far the most professional of the firms I consulted. They came in on time on the day we agreed the work would be done, did an excellent job, tidying up well. The stump grinder (an independent selected by them) came in shortly afterwards and also did an excellent job, spending more time than probably anticipated at no extra cost, and also tidied up the yard  before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending Superior NW - I would use them again if the need arises.

Those guys were phenomenal. What I like about them was that I gave specific instructions on exact side I want done and I have a certain tree I'm trying to get shape on a specific way and I've got trees in the backyard that I need for trimming, I it cut back a lot in the middle and I want them to be full. When they came out and did the estimate, the person who did the estimate was not the one who did the trimming and when they came and did the trimming, they did exactly what I want. The communication in their company was very good. They do the service every year.

We had bids from three other places that were pretty competitive. We went with Superior based on a friend's experience and Superior's business history, licensing and accreditations. Only one other company besides Superior even came close when it came to showing up on time for our appointment and turning the bid back to us in a timely manner. The other two companies seemed to be completely unprofessional and just out to get as many jobs as possible.
 
Let me just say that this is one of the best companies I have EVER dealt with hands down. Anthony came out to give us our original bid. He is incredibly knowledgeable and took into consideration all of our reservations and questions. We have a large private wooded property and wanted to be very conservative about tree removal and pruning. At the same time we know that there were many trees in trouble and also a few very large trees place too close to our house. His recommendations were less aggressive then some of the other bidders and even helped us set up a priority list for future pruning/removal as needed.
The day of the service Michael came with his team. Michael is probably one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you will meet. My husband was very nervous about how much we had to do and Michael put us right at ease. They did the job in a timely manner and were incredibly clean about it. The team was very friendly with me and my kids.
We asked them to leave the wood for us and chips and that wasn't a problem. They even cut some of the saplings down into 6' lengths for us to us along some trails we are creating.
I had several conversations with Gina at the main office leading up to our job getting done. She was professional, helpful and courteous throughout.
I cannot say enough good things about Superior. We truly had an incredible experience with them and will be using them again for future jobs no question.

    EVERYONE WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB.
    THE OFFICE STAFF WAS ALSO PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE...
  WE CHOSE THIS COMPANY OVER THREE OTHER BIDDERS BECAUSE THEY CAME OUT AND WENT BACK TO THEIR
  OFFICE AND WITHIN A DAY OR SO FAXED US A VERY DETAILED  AND ITEMIZED  LIST FOR EACH SEPARATE JOB.
  ALL  BIDS WE RECEIVED WERE ALL CLOSE IN PRICE BUT THIS COMPANY STOOD OUT  FOR DETAIL...

It all went incredibly well, arrived on time and worked fast an efficiently. I expected not to have much lawn left by the end just because of the scope of the work they were doing, but not only could you not tell that they'd even been on the lawn some of the garden actually looked tidier than before they had arrived!

I would probably use them again.

They did leave holes in the yard but I think it would have been really hard to avoid given the shape of the trees. Overall, they did a good job. They were in and out quickly. I was gone during the time of the work, but they completed the job.

I was pleased with the service. They were very good and did everything they were supposed to do. The price was little high. However, they did a good job.

They initially gave me a bid for tree removal. However, once the workers arrived, they refused to remove the tree because it was so large and the bid was not correct. They said they could trim the tree for that price but not remove it. I was disappointed with that.  However, the tree trimmers were cordial and very friendly. They knew what they were doing.

The service was fine. They were very cooperative, on time, and did what they said. We were pleased with the service and we have no complaints with the work. I do remember they had a horticulturist which was helpful. Dustin was the man I worked with. He was very polite and professional.  Everyone was very respectful and worked well with me.
