We needed to have the ramp installed quickly in order for my husband to be able to come home from a skilled nursing facility. Joe came out for measurements within a day or two of my first phone call, and had estimate - several of them, as I requested - back to me in another day or two. They were complete, and clear. We discussed permanent and temporary options, including metal and wood. Joe also pointed out the crossover time between rental and purchase.
We discussed the options, and I ended up choosing a temporary ramp. The team was out soon thereafter; it took a little less than a day to install. The team was professional and helpful. they even worked in the rain and wind to get the ramp done, knowing that my husband needed to come home to next day.
Additionally, they made recommendations for a different design if we needed to move to a permanent ramp.
I've been very, very pleased with the work, and with the customer service. We're still renting the ramp, and Joe has responded promptly several times to my questions when I needed information for an insurance claim.
I would use RampArts again in a heartbeat.
I am a little late on this review. My 93 year old mother with bad dementia wound up from a hospital visit not being able to stand up and maneuver herself into the shower pan at her own house. To make a standard shower pan wheel chair accessible was very expensive and we did not know how long my mother can stay in her own house. I got a couple estimates to put in a no threshold shower pan and it was very expensive. Almost like a bathroom remodel. I didn't know what to do. I called Ramparts and explained the situation to them. Their carpenter built a nice custom cedar slatted platform in the shower pan and installed a portable ramp up to the platform. My mom has been enjoying being able to have a shower in a wheeled shower chair, with assistance, for a fraction of what it would have cost to redo the bathroom. It was an ingenious solution to an accessibility problem.
Couldn't have gone better. Pete showed up on time, knew exactly what he was doing and was finished within 90 minutes. (if that long!!)
I would reccommend RampArts to anyone needing a wheelchair ramp or in my case, simple grab rails. But man are those babys solid!!!
Whoever rated these guys a and quot;Dand quot; is a complete and utter MORON!!!!!
