Straightforward and competitive pricing. Responsive and friendly service. Excellent workmanship: the 5-post handrail with forged tails matches the already-existing railings on higher steps perfectly. They also repaired a few holes in the concrete steps. Ben was a pleasure to work with and has a keen eye for design.

It went excellent. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions. Their price was very fair and they cleaned up after themselves. Their quality of work was good. They knew what they were doing. They were very skilled.

We had three estimates from Ironwork companies. This company. Had a fair price and their material appeared to be superior to the other companies. We had to wait two months before our work could be scheduled. The iron railing was built and installed at our house. It took 4 days to complete the work. The result is a beautiful sturdy iron railing that descend from our front porche to the end of steps. We are very pleased with the end result.

We called Estate Iron Work and described what we wanted. Ben Schreiner, the owner. was available to come by that afternoon.  We discussed the rail needed to provide guarding across an open area of our front porch and a hand rail down some steps. We also showed him where we wanted a hand rail down some steps to our patio. Ben was able to show us several types of rail and sketch out some ideas that would compliment existing features of our house.  We liked his concepts and chose a specific design that included a custom section of "leaves" in the center of the guarding section.

Ben wrote up a detailed quote that included sketches and we agreed to do the work.  He asked for a 50% deposit, explaining that he needed to buy materials and prefab most of the assemblies prior to coming back to install them.  While numerous home improvement advisors warn about paying deposits ahead of the work, we were comfortable enough with Ben's website and demeanor to give him a deposit check.

About three weeks later, he called to schedule installation.  He arrived with two others in a large shop van and proceeded to do final layout welding of the two structures.  They also positioned the footing plates and drilled the holes in the concrete.  Due to the weather, they took everything back to their shop to finish the welding, clean up and paint the finished pieces.  The next day they returned and installed the rails. They look great and are a nice addition to our home.  The team cleaned up all debris and repositioned some things that needed to be moved for the work.  At the end of the job, we gave Ben a check for the balance of the job.

Ben and his crew were pleasant, professional and careful throughout the process.  We are very happy with the results.
