Scott was quick to respond to my initial inquiry. We met Scott and went of ideas of what we thought we would like. Scott's knowledge and experience in the industry lead us to new ideas and finalizing a plan and design. We scheduled a weekend for the project(yes a weekend) and he showed up at the time discussed, promptly setup, and took off building. Scott and his helper had the project done and cleaned up well before dark. The patio cover is amazing with clean lines and structurally strong. I would recommend Scott to everyone and hope more people get the chance to work with this gentleman. I will definitely use him in the future.

We would highly recommend scott stephens(West Coast Home Improvement). His work is top quality! His experience allows him to fix the quirkiest problems with excellent results. He has unquestionable work ethics and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction! Scott went above and beyond what was required for our deck projects-actually for our entire back yard project which included a 15'x24' deck and patio cover. On a scale of 1-10 scott is an 11 !! After getting an excellent deal they showed up at a decent time in the morning and were done before dinner time! And the job they did was absolutely excellent. They even provided bolts under the deck to adjust it if the ground started to sink or erode again. I also have two short-legged dogs so not only did he build the stairs really short for them, but also long enough so one dog could go occupy an entire stair and a human can still get by him. :) Excellent work, I can't recommend them enough.

It went AMAZING, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job faster than expected. Our new composite deck looks outstanding, and is super stable! We have a few more projects coming up, and we will be sure to reach out to west coast home improvement again when we are ready for those projects to get started! Great job! Showed up on time, worked hard and kept a clean orderly work site! Pleasant to talk to and obviously knew his business! There was a complicated angle he had to deal with and it was done perfectly!

Smooth smooth smooth. What a great experience!! Usually I take care of my outside projects but on this one I delegated to a contractor due to a busy work schedule. All I can say is that we were well taken care of! From the initial contact and through the end of the project, we were well informed, the budget was met and the quality exceeded my expectations. Quality materials were used and the best lumber was chosen. I have spent some time in the trades and you can tell when lumber packages are called in. Usually you will get warped or crummy looking wood. Not my lumber. Nice looking lumber and for the main beam, a very nice looking center cut beam. Very straight and will be good to go for many years. We are very thankful to be able to use our porch year round and especially with all this recent hot weather, what a great place to unwind after a hot stressful day. Thank you so much Scott!!! I highly recommend this company!!!!!!

He is great! All of our friends ask who did our stuff because everything looks so nice. He does quality work and reasonable pricing. He is very friendly and professional. He is the only contractor I will let touch our house. I did notice he has gotten one bad review on here. There has to be more to the story than that customer is putting on here as we have never been disappointed or less than satisfied with him or any of the work he's done. Everyone we've referred him to has had nothing but great things to say. You won't regret having him do any of your work.

We hired Scott about 15 years ago to fix some things on our house that we were selling. He was awesome. He showed up on time and fixed everything just like we wanted and never went against the city's codes. We have been using him from time to time over the years and to be honest, I would not hire anyone else. It is so hard to find good, honest, hard working people out there that don't rip you off! I find Scott and his family to be very good people. In fact, just recently he has come over and looked over our next job request and was so helpful. My partner has MS and she had a lot of questions to ask and he took the time to sit down and explain everything to her in detail on what he was going to do. I was amazed, he never got upset or angry because of all the questions. He definitely takes pride in his job, workmanship and family. I couldn't imagine using anyone other than Scott! Thank you Scott for all the work you have done for us over the years!

He is a phenomenal contractor. His work was outstanding and quick and absolutely perfect. He is very througrow. The most kind gentleman ever. Him and his wife worked at my house and were so kind. I will be hiring him for all my needs and remodels with my home.

Bad.. He misrepresented himself, he deceived me and try to deceive City of Lacey inspector. He is not nice man. He had bad temper and I can't ask him questions. He said "I don't listen to customer". I left me a mess and I am so disappinted in a person I thought be said he was. All talk but no action- abandonment- rude, disrespectful, dishonest, poor customer service. I am now having to look for new congractor. My advice- watch out - he is not the man he say he is- he misresprent himself and no action. He is mean person with anger issues. Here is paint job he did on gray consuit trying to deceive City of Lacey Inspector He does crappy job. He did even pour 5th hole after 6 months. If you happen to be his victum and trust him, please have it written and take to an attorney to sign. It is worth the money to get an attorney look over it. He will try to screw me over even with written contract.

Scott and his son we're extremely easy to work with and did a fantastic job! Each day they were here right when they said they would be, and one day they called us just to say they were running 10 minutes late! What contractor calls you to say they're running 10 minutes late?! None that I've ever worked for until Scott! They cleaned up the debris every day and were extremely conscientious about it. The work was completed on time and on budget and we're extremely happy with the results! We'd absolutely hire Scott and his son again.

Scott came to the house on 03/17/2015 and we explained what we wanted. He showed us all our options and an estimated price for us. We signed the contract on 03/19/2015, and the work was done today on 03/30/2015. Quality materials and an excellent contractor! We plan to have Scott add a front porch for us next summer. Highly recommended!

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product and the professionalism of the installation team. Scott Stephens, the owner of West Coast Home Improvement, met with me and provided a full portfolio of previous work and references. He answered all my questions and made valuable recommendations.
Installation went smoothly and quickly. Two small leaks were noted due to the relocating of an existing gutter . Both leaks were repaired quickly and to my satisfaction.
I would definitely hire Scott and his Company for further work and highly recommend him to anyone considering remodeling.
