Unprofessional and terrible customer service. There are two parts to any job, performing the task and then handling any followup issues. They added insulation to our attic, and besides their truck having problems and spraying insulation all over the exterior of our roof and front yard after their hose burst, they did indeed add the requested insulation to our attic. However, it is now tax season and there are tax credits available for energy improvements you have made to your house, such as adding insulation. To receive this credit you need to provide the cost of materials for such work and not include labor cost. The invoice they provided did not provide such a breakdown, so I had to call them to find out how much the materials cost for our job was. When I initially called, someone said they would look into it and call me back. Several days later after no call, I called them again. The owner answered and did tell me it is approximately 60 % materials cost and 40% labor cost. I asked if I could have something in writing, such as a one line email, stating this for my records in case I were to get audited. Upon this request, the man became upset and went off on how they were so busy and he didn’t have time for this. After ranting on, I told him I still needed some kind of documentation of the materials cost for my taxes. He then yelled something, then hung up on me. Besides being completely unprofessional, this is just plain ridiculous. If they can not deal with a simple request as this, what would you trust them to handle? There are plenty of other companies that can add insulation to your house, and I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Good. They were here on time, cleaned up when they left. Kenny explained all they were doing.

Kenny Turner is quite knowledgeable about insulation and the ins and outs of the procedure. He was very articulate about the procedure.   He is very friendly and I knew he was an expert.  There was no hard sell I just knew the man knew his business.

He noticed vermiculite with asbestos in our attic. We didn't know it was there. . He told me what would have to happen before he could send his men in there to insulate. He gave suggestions as to who to remove it.to call and what to do.

We had the attic cleaned of asbestos by a local company, Advanced Environmental.  When Turners came back to insulate Kenny found more asbestos the "removers" hadn't seen.  So patiently he and his Dad, Dave rescheduled their day to insulate.(Advanced Environmental was kind enough to NOT charge me more and to fwd Turners $100.00 for fuel and lost time working)

Kenny and his co-worker came back a second time and did the insulation once the attic was cleared of asbestos  they worked quickly and their machine was quiet. I hardly knew they wee thee.  they finished quickly and left.  We are happy we dealt with Turners and would hire them again when we do our walls.  I know they would do a great job there as well.

This little company knows what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone wanting insulation put in in any part of the home.

Excellent. I was very pleased. They even provided photos of the work done in all the places I didn't care to inspect.

During 2009, Turner Insulation was recommended by Puget Sound Energy?s  (PSE) weatherization
program as one of their  approved venders. The insulation under our house was hanging down and most of it was
lying on the ground. We did not have any problem with rodents.
When Turner gave us a bid they,  assured us that they would seal all the crawl space vents  to make sure that no pest
could ever enter the crawl space. We accepted their bid and they finished thejob in one day. Like most people we never went under the house to check Turners work, we relied on PSE inspector and he approved the work.
During 2011,  we started smelling something nasty coming from under the house. It?s not an easy
job for me to get under the house, but I did. What I saw was a shock. 1/3 of the insulation had fallen down, ¼ of the vapor barer was never installed.   The vent covers that were used were 2 inches shorter than the vents. Suddenly we have an infestation of rats. When I complained to Turner and PSE, we were told that we were to blame because we had
a compost bin and we recycled. After much bickering between Turner and PSE they agreed to fix the problem. Again I never went under the house. And PSE approved the job.
Just a month ago, a year or after the Turners redid the insulation, I started smelling that same nasty smell of rat p*** again. So I
drag myself under the house again and again I am shocked. This time the insulation is dropping down again.  There
are several dead rat carcasses.  The vent covers; that I had told both PSE and Turner Insulation were the wrong size and
needed to be replaced with the correct size vent covers, were reused, creating the same problem, another rat infestation. Again when I complained to Turner, they told me that we have super rats and there was nothing that they could do
to stop super rats from getting into the crawl space.
So right now our family is in limbo. Because it?s winter, We have to live in a closed house that we can smell the rat p*** coming from underthe house. Turner refuses to fix the problem and is insisting that we pay for an exterminator before they will even look at it.  I don?t understand why PSE and Turner keep blaming us for a problem that they created.
We never had a rodent problem until Turner created a nice warm nest for them.  WE cannot afford to spend money to correct other people?s mistakes? and we should not have to.  We never had a rodent problem before and if he job were done correctly we would not have this problem now.
I have tried to work this out with Turner Insulation with PSE acting as the mediator but they both want to act like bullies and claim that vents hey installed are not meant to keep pest out. They are not willing to correct the problem that Turner Insulation created and only want minimize the impact of he damage caused by the pest in order to avoid correcting the problem.

They had reasonable prices and I liked his personality. I would give him all A's across the board. I would use him again in the future if I ever needed.

The bid was high but the promise of the quality work they would perform would have been worth it.
They did average work in spots, some areas the work was shoddy.
They did not complete the work they said they would do.

Turner did a great job. They came out for the estimate, told us what needed to be changed, recommended a contractor to do the 'pre-work,' which we had done.  Turner's estimate was one-half of the other two bids.  They came highly recommended, were professional at all times, cleaned up their mess and it was like they were never here -- except of course for the lower heating bills.

I liked the work and I could feel the difference it made in my house.  I am satisfied with what they did.  He had to borrow my broom and other stuff.  His kid came in, went up and he had all the parts and he did the work.  It was reasonable.  He got up there and found out that there was a big huge place around my fireplace, so they had to bring in extra materials.  I think he did a good job.  He did what he said he would do.  He responded right away.

We scheduled to have the work done, then they called last minute to reschedule for a few days later. They showed up and did the removal of old insulation as planned. They added vapor barrier, and said they would have to finish the duct wrapping and sealing another day but didn't schedule. My husband called after not hearing from them and found they said they couldn't wrap and seal are ducts and they thought our ducts were too old and needed to be replaced.

We ended up contacting some HVAC specialists and were able to have the ducts wrapped and sealed and the HVAC people said it was a matter of using the right materials.

I more than likely wouldn't use this company again primarily because of their poor communication which made me uneasy. I can't really speak to the quality of the new vapor barrier as I don't go in the crawl space.

Very responsive and did a great job quickly. Found leaks under the house and let us know about it and waited while we contacted a plumber. Overall did a really good job at a very reasonable price.

The job was handled extremely well. The contractor was on time for both the estimate and the work. The work was performed as bid, and the site was cleaned up appropriately. Kenny patiently explained that his company is not listed on the PSE approved insulators' list, but his bid was only slightly higher than that of the PSE insulation companies, even after subtracting the PSE rebate.
