We called the company after checking Angie's list reviews. We were having some leaking issues in our 11-year old house. The owner came out and inspected the roof, walked around it with my husband, and showed him that the entire roof was leaking, and pointed out problem areas. He estimated we would need to replace at least 4 sections of plywood underlayment, as well as the shingles. We were a bit skeptical but agreed to have them do the work. They were able to get the crew out within just a few days, on the first really dry day we'd had in weeks. Our house is a 2500 sq ft rambler with one completely covered deck, and another partially covered deck, so there was a fair amount of roof involved. They said they would be there at 7:30 am, and arrived with a crew of 9, right on time. My husband spent a good amount of time on the roof during the demolition, taking pictures of the water damage. It was exactly as the owner had predicted, with improperly installed shingles, and severe water damage in 14 of the plywood sections, as well as around skylights. They had to remove and re-install 2 skylights, 2 Solartubes, and a pellet stove chimney as well as replacing all the vents. Except for 2 breaks, the entire crew worked extremely hard all day long. They hand-nailed every shingle in place, and completed the entire job by 4:00 pm. The most amazing thing was the clean up. They somehow were able to get rid of all the plywood and old shingles without any damage to the flower beds and decks surrounding the house. They picked up every bit of the discarded and left over construction material, and went around the entire roof and perimeter with magnets, to be sure they hadn't left any old staples or new nails or other metal fragments anywhere. I left for work in the morning, looking back at the house. All was calm, the roof looked normal from a distance. When I returned from work in the evening, all was calm, the roof looked exactly the same, except there were no old stains or discoloration - I could not tell anyone had even been there! I couldn't recommend them more highly. Their appraisal of the situation was accurate and honest, they arranged their schedule to make the repair quickly, they were precise in terms of their schedule, on time, worked very hard for the entire day, finished on time, and practice a "no trace" method of clean up that is unbelievable!

They did everything in one day. I did not need to be home. They did an awesome job. I was more than happy with them.

Despite weather and several other problems, Lacey Roffing completed all agreed too tasks professionally in a reasonable time frane. The old roof was removed, a new roof was installed and the area cleaned up in a single day while staff returned to finish odd tasks and gutters within a week. All in all a pleasant experience at a reasonable cost. I would definitely use Lacey Roofing again.

We had received 4 bids for replacement of our roof. Lacey Roofing's bid was not only the most competitive, but he was the only owner who came out and actually spent time with me answering all of my questions. All of the other bids we received included someone coming out asking if it was okay to go up on the roof, then getting back to us with a proposal. Lacey Roofing actually made a case for why they used the materials they did and told me exactly what would occur. 6 months later our roof still looks like new and is working great. The only reason they did not receive an A in professionalism is that the lead man on the job that particular day didn't spend time with me in the morning going over all of my expectations with me and then just packed up at the end of the day and I went out to see if they were done but they hadn't removed the gutters like I was expecting, and there was a bit of grumbling about it when it turned out that yes, they were supposed to do that. Everything was resolved in a timely fashion however, and I still feel pleased about the product/service I received.

They did a good job. We have not had a lot of rain. They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up after themselves. They finished the job in 2 days which is what we had planned for. The price was not the cheapest but after talking to him it seemed like the best value for the money. Everything I can see looks good. I have no reason to think they have not done a good job. So I have not gone up to inspect the roof. Only time will prove what a good job they did but I personally don’t think there will be any problem. They were very responsive.

When they got done, it all looked great, totally new! The yard was clean after they were done. They were on time and followed up with what they said. We had to watch the weather, but he was ready once it was clear. This took them one day to do. I would absolutely hire them again.
