Bert was prompt every time he had to come over; his workers arrived on time, were efficient, quiet and well-mannered.  We needed the house painted in the same colors and did a fantastic job matching the paint.  They used a high quality paint which looks amazing.  The clean-up was perfect; they only damaged one plant (columbine which grows wild for me so no big deal) and were careful around the landscaping.  His bid also came in almost $1000 less than the next bidder.  I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

We met Bert Jansson of EuroCraft Painting at the OMB home & garden show at St. Martin's College in April.  We were impressed with him and his display at the show, so we invited him to come out and give us an estimate for painting our house - and we're so glad we did!  Bert gave us a very fair estimate of the cost of painting and described the pros and cons of different types of paint, explaining why he really likes the brand of paint that he uses.  We wanted to keep the old color and had an old can of paint from the last time that we painted many years before, so Bert was able to match the color exactly.  He asked us to make sure we had trimmed away the shrubs that were touching the house, but said that our flower beds and other plantings would not be damaged by either the pressure washing or by the painting.  We did as he asked and we were ready for paint! 

Painting day came and as luck would have it here in the PNW, we had a really nice day for the crew to work.  The thought was to paint the body of the house the first day and then come back for the trim.  Bert's crew of 4 arrived at about 7:45am and they each introduced themselves so we knew who each crewmember was.  They set to work right away, taking down everything that could be removed such as downspouts, exterior lighting and even the house numbers!  They masked all the windows and doors and even the concrete foundation to make sure everything was perfect. They also put down protective tarps on the walkways and laid them very carefully over the plants around the foundation. 

Spray painting and rolling of the paint followed right behind as each side of the house was prepped, and before long it was lunchtime.  They took a quick lunch break and then back to work.  And these guys really know how to work to get the job done!  We were impressed with their excellent teamwork and each of them was very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns on our part.  Bert stopped by to see how the work was going and he took the time to speak with us as well.  They still thought it was going to be a two day job, but afternoon came and they were already unmasking the exterior that was completed.  As each side of the house was done the trim work followed right along and before we knew it the job was done and the house just shone!  Where it was sun faded and dull only hours before, now the house looked alive again!

They cleaned up every scrap of masking tape and paint chip, and then spread the protective tarps out on the lawn to fold them up.  There was no mess, no fuss, just good honest work along with a good sense of comradeship amongst the crew.  They were all cleaned up and ready to go by 4:30pm - no need to come back and do the trim, it was all done too!

Bert bid the job under other contractors bids. He was amazing on several fronts. First, since I needed some popcorn ceilings removed and some other drywall work done, he brought in a 1st class drywall company to do that work. He then worked around my very tight schedule with the drywall contractor and was able to get all the work done 1 day ahead of schedule! His paint crew are very adept and professional. The whole crew stayed over 10 hours the last day to ensure the job was done. Fantastic quality, more than fair prices and absolutely the best customer service imaginable. I will be using them again on my rental houses and restaurant very soon.

The entire experience was great. We received a good price quote, and was scheduled pretty quickly. On the day of the work, the crew arrived by 7:30 am and each introduced themselves. Throughout the day the crew were professional, listened to my concerns, took great care to mask doors and windows and to cover plants as needed. They asked me questions for my preferences and attended to details. They completed the entire project in one day, a great crew of hard working and pleasant professionals!
