Good - only glitch was that carpet installer could not lay carpet up the stairs until I found a handyman to remove the railing. Resulted in an extra day of work by installer but at no extra cost to me. B&R provided a list of potential handyman and I quickly found one that could come in the PM of the first installation day.

We love the carpet and flooring they helped us choose.

When they came they reazlized they did not have enough carpet. Instead of speaking with us about how to deal with that they decided to cut the carpet up into smaller pieces to cover the whole area. That would leave 2 unneeded seams in the small bedroom. If he had instead called us we would have just said do the bedroom and order more for the hallway. Then we would have been able to put our house back together in time for Thanksgiving as planned. Our addition which is completely done except for the carpet will now wait 30 more days for them to order more.

We have used B&R several times since building our home in 2000. They have done all of our flooring, including this job of replacing carpet. The installers were very detail oriented, even pointing out a flaw in the carpet that was hard to see except in a certain light. This flaw was documented and replacement carpet was provided by the company.

Contractor that we were working with introduced us to the salesperson we would be working with @ B&R. Salesperson worked diligently to find the tile samples that matched our requests. He was mindful of our budget. We could take home the tile sample boards so final decisions could be made at home. Each time we entered B&R, we were greeted by other staff members. There is a genuine feeling of customer service.

The installers did a grat job and returned promptly to fix a couple of small glitches. The business could have been a bit moe compulsive about returning phone calls. I would use them again, but it was a bit frstrating to not have calls returned promptly.

B & R did an excellent job on installation of all of the above with a minor exception. While installing tile backsplash above cooktop several years ago, they scratched the stainless steel cooktop when cleaning up the grout. The particular worker seemed new agt this job.

They scheduled us for a Mon and Wed. That gave us a day in between to shift small items to the areas already carpeted.
The installers arrived on time, worked steadily and moved all the heavy furniture without a problem. Carpeting is lovely and there were no problems with the installation.

It was great. I have used them before and their carpets have good quality. I bought a carpet from another company before and it only lasted for six years. They are also local. I worked with a guy from the company and he was great. The guys who came in were great too and they did a very nice job.

Overall pretty satisfied with the purchase and product. The installers were nice and appeard to know what they were doing. My complaints would be they did not do a very good final cleanup. I found staples in my driveway and bits and pieces of flooring material at various locations througout the work area. They also forgot to nail down one section of baseboard. Both installers were smokers and while they did not smoke in our house, the smell of a smoker isn't good. At one point I found myself covering my nose because the odor was so strong.

We ordered the flooring from Terry Raub way back in early November. He was not only helpful, but fun to work with - great sense of humor! Although we went in with a basic idea of the colors we wanted, he was very adept at suggesting alternatives or complementary colors to suit us. We have had a number of large dogs living here and currently have a small one, so he suggested a new carpet pad that helps with the dander and "accidents" that happen far too often. He also suggested a nice Stainmaster carpet, but when it came time to make the appointment for the install, that particular carpet was still in transit, stuck in one of this year's snow storms back east. B and R upgraded our carpeting at no additional cost so that we could have carpet installed on schedule with carpet they had in stock.
The carpet was installed first so that we could enjoy it with our kids who were visiting for Christmas. The kitchen vinyl and laminate hardwood had to wait until after our kitchen remodel was finished, which is why it was installed just this week and it looks great!
The guy they sent over to measure was informative and professional. The installers were friendly, on time, cleaned up after themselves and also very professional. Whenever we had questions and Terry was not available, the rest of the staff was able to help us with no problems. From start to finish our experience has been nothing but enjoyable.

This was for the most part an Insurance Claim with Farmers Ins, Due to a broken water pipe under the house. Band R was recommended as a preferred company to work with, My wife and I are happy with the work done, and they tried very hard to get it finished by the holidays, which they did. Quality of work was very good to say the least, and Brian at Band R helped us out allot in picking the right colors. we did upgrade almost everything from what we had before, and paid out of pocket for the upgrades which we felt were reasonable costs. Yes, nothing is inexpensive when it comes to basically remodeling your house after a major set back like house damage, but Farmers and Band R were there for us all the way, and yes we just contracted Band R for another project.

There was a leak from the toilet that leaked to the garage causing dry rote. They had us stop using the bathroom to allow time for everything else to dry out. They came in early, cleaned out the dry rote, replaced the sub-flooring, and put down new flooring. When removing our bottom molding some broke, Band R offered us replacement molding for free.

Found Band R on Angies List after rejecting an $8,000 (!!!) bid for this same job from a different contractor.
We were pleased with the explanations of the various quality tiles and vinyl's when at the store with the salesman. An appointment for estimate and measuring was made. The estimator showed up on time, answered our questions regarding removal of old flooring etc. We agreed to removed all the baseboards and they were to remove and reinstall the toilets. B and R called later to schedule the installation which went as planned and on time. The tile bathroom required a second visit (very normal) to apply the grout. The installer also used color coordinated tile to make a backsplash around the newly installed sink/countertop. The tile install on this job is much better than our kitchen tile install from a different company.
One edge of the vinyl flooring (behind a toilet) started to roll up. I had yet to reinstall the baseboard which aids in keeping the vinyl in place. This rolling up along the edges is in fact normal for most vinyls, but what I will say is when my wife called to ask about it, the technician she spoke with did not give a very believable explanation.
I plan on using B and R again in the future and recommend them to others.

All went well, the floor is in and looks great. Band R followed up with us to see that we were satisfied with their service and the product. That follow up is important to me. Another important point for me was when I first entered the store, a gentleman asked right away what he could do to assist me. It all went great from that point on.

The Band R rep was pleasant, showed us many options and was not high
pressure. An estimator came out on schedule, we accepted the bid, and
Band R provided the installation contractor. The work was done in an
excellent manner. The installer was responsive to any adjustments we
requested and wanted to make sure that we were pleased. The product and
work completely satisfied us. We were happily surprised to get some
credit back from the estimated total because not all the supplies were
used and were returned. We will definitely use Band R in the future.

Rule #1 if you have not picked out carpet before, be aware that the carpet showrooms are not the same as the people who actually do the work. The work is contracted out. Normally the complaint might be with the sub-contractor - in this case it is the opposite. The showroom people are at the same caliber as used car salesmen. There is no one stop shop in this business, think of it the way you would when approach a used car purchase -negotiate and shop around. Do not fall into the fast talking sales trap, but caveat emptor - let the buyer beware. So many unprofessional problems, where to begin: The "dealership" promised to have the carpet delivered after the vinyl was installed and this was to be the same week. Instead, we were "rescheduled" because not all the carpet had been delivered. But 80% of the carpet (the prime color) had been delivered to the store as planned . There were two basic colors the majority of which was brown and had been delivered on Monday, but the light green (20%)came on Friday. The installation reschedule caused serious frustration for valid reasons. We were out of our bedrooms completely. The other side of the house jam packed. They could have begun on the Tuesday as planned, but curtly informed us that "we don't begin the job until all the carpet is delivered to the store". It should have made no difference, because there was so much brown it took several deliveries to our home 30 miles away. Their measurement guy took photos of specific custom areas, but these were never shared with the installers when the finally did begin three weeks later. If we had not been present during the install, the work would have definitely been done "blind" and a disaster. This company does not communicate well with either their contractors not their customers. They are full of promises and claims of integrity, but they are an insult to used car dealers, not to mention to reliable, forthcoming business people. They talk a good talk but don't walk it. Spaced out sales staff as well. We were lucky that the contractors for the vinyl were understanding since the paperwork requiring our preparation was not provided by the home office "dealer" and we again were fortunate to be present to clean the underlayment prior to the new vinyl install while they waited. The management has terrible communication all around. The second installers were more competent than the guy they sent on the first carpet install, but the real problem was with the home office. Later discussion proved fruitless and this company wants to expand to Lewis County! Beware of B and R! Their showroom gives the impression of professionalism, but don't be fooled by the cover, this book is pulp fiction. Shop around before you commit. Lesson learned. Make sure the scheduler make your interest his bosses priority.

We were very happy with them overall. They stayed in touch with us from the beginning. Brian arranged everything for us. He arranged the follow up also. I would give them a pretty high grade on everything. They were honest with us from the beginning. I would refer them to anyone. I would use them in the future.

From our first meeting with Terry at B & R, we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Terry helped us with the design and was involved throughout the process. Communication on all levels was excellent. We were always kept up to date with the scheduling. The work was done on time and with great skill. Michael did our countertops and kitchen floor and Brian installed the wood floor and stairs. Both were courteous, on time, and provided excellent workmanship. We are extremely happy.

The sales staff is very helpful, experienced and are not high pressure. The installation was extremely custom, we have many intricate areas such as bay windows and a kitchen island with many angles. The installation was performed perfectly. The installers were very thoughtful to our home, clean cut, and polite to our family!
