He is an independent worker and did most of the prep work the first day. He had two other guys with him. When they removed the carpet they rolled it up, and I was able to take it and reuse it because it was still usable. They put some kind of paper down when they were installing the flooring so nothing was scratched. When he was done he came back and hauled off the rest of the carpet that wasn't usable. I can't tell it is not real wood, which is really nice.
