This is really a tail of a bi-polar company.
Positives: Pete Woodman is an outstanding person and I would use him again in a heartbeat. When he was engaged, issues were resolved and drama was eliminated.
Bryce Tingley was a fantastic General Contractor. He focused on quality work and attention to detail. He managed Sub-contractors well and kept work moving.
Negatives: Project management was a problem. Change orders were not done appropriately, the budget ambiguous throughout the construction. The 2 project managers are no longer with the company.
Lesson learned would be to interview the PM, gain commitment on them staying with the project through completion, include penalties for late completion/sub poor performance, and select all finishes prior to beginning the project.
