Kenn was great. Was on board with me wanting to give an old baby grand a chance, but at the same time perfectly honest about what to expect. Came back to fix an issue with one key a couple of weeks later

I gave Stage 7 my Chickering baby grand to sell as we moved and had no place for it. Initially he said he could get close to $2000 and I would receive 75%. I explained that I was not interested in paying to have it altered and any work he did would come out of his side and if I did not net a substantial amount I would prefer to donate it to charity. After months of nothing he asked if he could sell it for under $1000. I agreed, thinking I was getting $750. Then he changed the payment to 50% and deducted work he did on the piano without my permission. I received a check for $200. I specifically told him I would not sell it for that amount. It's gone and I feel cheated.

On time.
Professional and obviously knowledgeable. Had a meter to be sure very accurate.
Took about 75 minutes.
Friendly , and felt at ease having him in my home. I'd definitely use again and recommend.

He previously tuned an older piano for me years ago. I decided to call him to tune our new piano. He recommended some additional work that would make the piano easier to play for someone with tendonitis. He carried out the work and I would hire him again.

I ASKED MR. WILDES TO TUNE FOR MY STEINWAY PIANOS LAST YEAR. ONE IS A GRAND AND THE OTHER ONE IS AN UPRIGHT WITH AN AUTOMATIC PLAYING DEVICE. MR. WILDES TUNED BOTH PIANOS SATISFACTORY.
