Scampers Daycamp for Dogs

I take my dogs Marley, a Pug, and Beau, a Basset, to Scampers and love it!  They both come home exhausted!

Scampers is really a full service doggy daycare. My (crazy) lab puppy has been going there the last five months- since he was 4 months old. He loves playing with the other dogs. The staff is careful to put dogs in groups according to their preferred play and body size. Odie (my dog) has never been sick or had a bad experience. I feel the owners- Linda and Stina- are good at giving me support and ideas when I need them. A daily report card gives me an idea who Odie has been playing with and what he's been up to over the day. I believe puppies don't just need walks, but play and socialization with other dogs. Raising a puppy is a fun and stressful experience. Having Scampers help us has greatly reduced our stress by giving us support and giving our dog plenty of activity and TLC. Best of all, I plan to leave our dog with Scampers if we go out of town. He's clearly comfortable there and gets to play all day! I'm grateful to have found this place- especially after checking out some of the other doggy daycares... yikes.

Very nice clean and well supervised environment. They monitor vaccination histories and are in contact with local vets monitoring local doggie health/disease issues such as bordatella outbreaks.
They monitor behavior issues and segregate as appropriate.
When my dog realizes we are headed to Scampers he gets very excited. He comes home tired.
I have had absolutely no complaints and give them the highest rating.

We love this doggy day care. They take great care of our one year old Border collie mix. She loves going there in the mornings. I love that they also offer grooming and boarding.

I would rate Scampers A+++++ if we could. My dog came to me from the Humane Society after being found as a stray and didn't know the world as a safe place. After visiting Scampers his behavior around other dogs has greatly improved as has his level of comfort around other people. I can't say enough good things about Scampers. The owners (Linda and Stina) are fantastic and the rest of the staff are great.

They are very easy to work with and very accommodating. They always put the safety of all the animals and they question well with the owners. They have a nice website on the facebook account. They communicate well with the customers. They get to know the dogs well.
