SARGENT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

It was pretty much a disaster. They were the subcontractors for Grove Window Supply, I did not have a problem with them at all, it was the subcontractor that was the problem that since were fired based on the experience I had. Grove Window Supply was great and they went above and beyond to fix everything. However, the subcontractor was a different story and they were not good. It was not a fun project even though everything got fixed.

This was a major project which began in August and is now nearing completion. The construction team did excellent work. They went out of their way to be thoughtful and considerate to we condominium owners.
The team had to enter each of the units during the replacement process. They were careful not to disturb any of our personal possessions. They worked quickly and efficiently.
Not only was their work of high quality but each member of the team was courteous and pleasant. It can't have been an easy task to work with so many condo owners and yet there was never at any time an occasion when the workers didn't do everything in their power to accommodate the residents.
I would highly recommend Sargent to anyone considering remodeling projects whether large or small.

We contacted SArgent based on a recommendation. They provided an estimate for a basement and kitchen remodel. Their price was close to that of other companies and our representative was very responsive. However, unlike the other contractors we got bids from, Sargent did not spend much time in our house and they did not bring subs in to look at plumbing and electrical. All other contractors brought these subs in and their prices increased following. We would consider using Sargent again, but in an old house we felt it was best to use someone that spent extensive time giving us an accurate bid.

They were fabulous. They provided me with a quote and I chose them because they were willing to work with me. They gave me an option: they could measure the windows then go and get them or they could measure the windows and I would go and get them myself. I saved a lot of money by going straight to the supplier. They were right on time and they were quick. There was a little scratch on a window and they came out a week later to replace it, no questions asked. Their service, their quality of work, and the pricing really stand out to me.

We received bids from 2 contractors, and Sargent was the lower bid. Halfway through the project, they found dry rot and repaired it for a reasonable cost, including framing and drywall. They were replacing the windows during the snowy period in November, and didn't hesitate to complete the work even though it was cold outside. They also did not let our indoor cats escape during the work, even though one of them is very keen on that idea.

Showed up to work on time everyday. They were great to work with, very agreeable with changes and had great suggestions. Overall they did a very professional job. I would definitely hire them again.
