ROBERT DAVIS CONSTRUCTION

The whole experience with Robert was professional and extremely complete. He showed up early on day one and did so for 5 months straight! He helped me with the permit process, including some issues. His bid and timing was right on. He showed up every day ready to work with all his supplies already purchased. No trips to a home improvement store in the middle of the day. He was meticulous in his craftsmanship. He knows his way around plumbing, electical, ect. He can do it all! and he did. I know it sounds like he is my brother but he really cares. He would come to the house on the weekends or after work if it was raining or windy just to check to make sure everything was sound. He would be way ahead of you when it came to ordering supplies for the project. He would not lay a big decision like a front door on us at the last minute. he would also be concerned about other issues in the house that we did not even plan on dealing with at the time. He was not afraid to advise you against a decision if he found it was not the best match for the property, and he has good taste. He has a wonderful guy that is his right hand man that we adored. I can go on and on about how great the experience was. He cost about 20% more than other tradesman and contractors that I have worked with. However, I truly believe that he is worth the extra $$. The fact that he works full weeks is alone a reason to pay a little extra these days.!! We will hire him again for sure. We will try and get him back in the spring for bath remodels so dont take him all spring!!!!

Very well. Because ours is an old house, there were surprises found behind walls, including shoddy work done by a previous home owner doing his own work. Robert stripped all of the old materials, took all debris to the dump, helped us design our new bathrooms, including choosing fixtures, paint color, tile, etc. Because of some unanticipated conditions, the project took longer than expected, and therefore cost more; however, it was worth the wait and the money. The finished product is beautiful and works well. Robert guaranteed our satisfaction by making a few small changes we requested upon completion, free of charge. He cleaned up after himself and upon completion even pressure washed and painted our deck (also free of charge), although it was not necessary. He is true to his word, and does beautiful work.
