Received an original bid, then spoke to him on phone. Clarified our needs, which were not as far reaching. Chas stated the job would take approx. 2 days and billed at $65/hour. I took notes while speaking to him. Agreed to these terms. When job was completed, Chas sent me an invoice for hourly billing at $75/hr. I have contacted him 5+ times over 2 week period via email and text. Absolute silence from him, except an email asking me if I had sent a check out. Update: prior to releasing this review, he did call asking about the check. He accepted the $150 decrease that we determined was a reasonable compromise.

We recently replaced the counters in our kitchen with "absolute black" granite.  Our original contractor did a terrible job, leaving our counters wth unfinished edges showing prominent saw marks, and marring the surface when he tried to grind out a blemish of some sort.  
Chas Anderton came out to assess our situation and give an estimate for what they might do to improve the situation.  He was confident the counter edges could be polished, and that he could at least improve the situation on the main surface.  The price wasn't cheap, but after investing in the counters, we wanted to see them finished properly.
Scheduling was straightforward, and his team arrived right on time.  They thoroughly prepped the kitchen to contain dust and protect our cabinetry.  They then did a test section of the counter edge so that they could show me how it would look before continuing to do the rest of the edges  After that, they used a piece of scrap from the counter install to test their repair of the main surface.  That looked good to so they proceeded to polish up the main counter surface.  Finally, they sealed and buffed all of our counters leaving everything with a beautiful shine.
I very much appreciated the team's attention to the finest details.  Our counters now look the way we had hoped that they would look from the start.  Thank you to Chas and his team for a job very well done!

At first blush, the job appeared excellent. The tiles were glossy and appeared nearly new. When they were complected they did not tell me of any problems. Some time later, I noted that the tiles that were next to the shower stall had a dark area extending out two inches from the shower stall and about 40" long. My first thought was that they used one machine to diamond polish the tile in larger areas and used a smaller one next to work near vertical surfaces and they had missed that area with the smaller machine.. I took photos of the areas and sent them by email to Premier and asked that they come back and finish the job. I said I wasn't in any hurry. They said they had another job over here soon and would do it in conjunction with that job. It never happened. I sent them another email and said I was available and to please come and finish the job.. A gentleman showed up some time later and looked at the area and took another set of photos. He wasn't sure why the area was darker than the polished area and left. After not hearing from them for some time, I sent them another email on February 12th asking them to set a date to complete the job. I've received no reply.

They are fantastic. They were very clean and just so nice. We have recommended them to our neighbors and will continue to use them.

I like the reviews on Angie's List and that they were specialists in care for stone and so I used them. They were excellent, they did a fabulous job. When they got done, it looked basically like it was about new. They did an excellent job, I would highly recommend them. They are probably average to slightly average expensive but I knew that from the reviews, I was more concerned about having excellent care, outcome, service, timeliness and they did what they said and answered follow up questions about me doing maintenance or them possibly doing maintenance for me in the future. I knew they were slightly above average in terms of expense before I hired them. They insisted they were excellent, they met all my expectations and I just didn't want to have a bad experience because I was only doing this with a one-time 10-year maintenance type thing. I'll probably use only them.

We are very glad we hired Premier to do the job for the following reasons:
1. The three-person team arrived when they said they would, and worked diligently until the job was done. They were polite and friendly at all times.
2. They were careful to protect all cabinetry, and our wood floors.
3. When they were finished, the floor of our bathroom and walk-in shower looked better than it did the day it was installed. The color is now richer than it ever was, and a month later, it still looks great.
4. The slate sidewalk now looks better than it ever did.
5. When we had a question later about a few small spots on the slate tile that seemed a little lighter than the rest of the tile, the owner sent two of his employees out to take a look. They examined the spots carefully, and then tested to see if the spots would disappear with more sealant, or whether we are simply faced with the fact that natural stone tile will have occasional variations in its composition. (The latter was true in our case.) While they were here, they also (without being asked) went over the re-cauiking in the kitchen to make it hadn't shrunk. There was no charge for this visit.
6. The final bill for the work was entirely consistent with the estimate.
7. We believe the amount charged was reasonable. We say this because (a) three men were here for about ten hours, (b) the owner was here to supervise in person at least once, and also supervised by phone; and (c) the work was of such high quality.

The work was completed while we were away on vacation so we really didn't have any interaction with the Owner or his employees while the work was in progress.

They were very pricey, but did a good job. They did not do what I had requested. Wanted a high gloss quality finish which I did not receive. The work was good for what they did, but I would have appreciated the high gloss that I requested.

They were excellent! I would recommend them to anyone because they were so good!

They are a fabulous company! I cannot say enough good things about them. We had estimates done when we first bought the place, and the bid we got from another company was incredibly high, so we put it off. This company bid a reasonable amount, taped everything off so there was no mess in the rest of the home while they did the work. The technicians were polite, clean and personable. It was just a great experience overall; I wish all companies were like this one!

The result looked a 1000 times better than it had previously. The technicians were incredibly professional and it really turned out beautifully. We were very pleased and there were no problems.

They do a great job. I would highly recommend them.
