Potts Painting

Potts Painting is _excellent!_ We had a crew in to paint our entire exterior, and it wasn't an easy job: split level home, 1 base color with two trim colors, plus some white and black for soffets and railings. In addition, we had some rotted deck boards that needed to be replaced which (of course) uncovered more rot on the supporting joists (a 2-hour job turned into a whole day's work). In short, a big job all 'round. Solomon and the crew worked tirelessly (despite rain delays), were kind, courteous, and friendly, and they did an excellent job where every detail was handled to our specifications. The repair they did on the deck was top-notch. Communication with the crew and the front office was clear and easy. The cost was well within average range, and we could NOT be happier with the result! We will be having them back to do some interior painting in the fall. Thank you, Rob, Joel, Solomon, and the rest of the team!

Generally this was a good experience, but it didn't end on the best note. Their quote was quite competitive, they showed up and worked when promised, and the quality of their painting was excellent. But there were 2 problems with their cleanup. The job had been to paint my new gutters and downspouts and they ended up leaving 2 of their cleanup rags in the gutters, which ended up clogging the downspouts in the next rain...a challenge to remove. Also, there were 2 half full gallons of paint left over and I later found that rather than dispose of the 6 small rollers they used to do the painting, they just dumped 3 into each of the cans. I had to fish them out and dispose of them myself. I would probably use them again, but I'd make sure they clean up more thoroughly.

I hired Potts to do some repainting for exterior doors that were looking worn out, including two that the builders had painted with interior paint and that were in terrible condition. Rob, the owner, kept right on schedule. He and his crew were punctual and professional, and they got the job done with great communication. I will keep them in mind for future projects!

Potts Painting is the best! We had a ton of trim, (including 3 deck and stairs), painted on a large, hard to access, 3 story house. The team power washed and prepped prior to starting the painting which took about a week to complete with two people working long hours. They were professional, cleaned up everyday, and checked in with us on any questions they had before proceeding. Great experience; highly recommend!

I never post reviews but I am so impressed with Potts Painting I had to this time. I contacted Mr. Potts; owner of Potts Painting to give me an estimate for painting my house. He showed up on time and was very cordial. He has been in the painting industry for 38 years and is very knowledgeable and accommodating. His bid was very detailed, gave me options and was very price competitive. As I work, a lot of my communication with him was nights and weekends and he always responded quickly. His company policy is to pressure wash, caulk, sand, primer, paint and final walkthrough. His crew was excellent. They were very detailed, clean and took pride in their work. There were 2-3 guys that worked doing exactly what was promised. They answered all my questions and they too we very knowledgeable. Mr. Potts came to my house 4ish times just to sit with me to pick out colors and brought me samples that an employee put on the house for me and even left the samples. Even though there was a small hiccup (rain), they were at my house the next day and immediately took care of it. I am so impressed with Potts Painting; I even had them paint my daughter’s house in which she received the same superior service. I am so highly impressed with Potts Painting they will be the only ones to pain interior/exterior for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Potts painting was great. They painted the exterior of my house and the following year I hired them to paint the full interior. Rob the owner did not hesitate to address a bubbling problem with the new finish on the exterior in spots due to the old stain.

Timely responses and great staff

They did a very good job and their price was reasonable.

Expectations exceeded. Our residence is three stories with some tricking roof lines, plus being on the beach has significant visibility. Potts Painting came in on budget, to schedule and delivered outstanding results. Rob (Owner) Josh (Estimator), Mark (Production Manager) and Saul (Crew Lead) each provided valuable insight, not to make it simpler or faster (which many other did) but to ensure a quality result. Versus my review, here’s what neighbors approached me to share. One who had their house painted maybe two years ago, stopped me and asked for a Potts Painting Business card to have on hand. For future consideration. They also commented on the amount of detailed prep and painting and thorough cleanup. Another neighbor living a couple of blocks away told me they purposefully walked by our house a few times as it was being painted and, not only had favorable comments about the results, but mentioned a number of times that the crew never stop moving (i.e. prepping, painting, cleaning, etc.) and how professional the crew members. A third neighbor also sought me out to say “I have purposefully been wanting to speak to you.” He was very complimentary of the Potts Paining results, the work ethic displayed by the crew and reiterated the comments of the others. Potts Painting is definitely about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.

I had waited to long to paint my 70 year old, 2 story, shingled house. Potts prepped, painted, and even took care of new gutters. They were there to help with paint colors right through the entire job. Best of all they were careful with my plants and all the little details that matter. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again!

I did hire them again, and so did our neighbors! Interior and exterior paint work was very good, clean up was good, communication was excellent. Lots of time spent in prep, good attention to detail. They stuck to their bid and their timeline-- no higher praise.

Rob (the owner) scheduled an appointment with me for an estimate. We walked around the house and he explained the process plus discussed potential repairs that could need attention. An on-the-spot estimate was provided. Follow up calls were answered promptly and I received help with final paint color selection. The work was done on time and the painters were pleasant, communicative, and left the grounds neat at the end of the day. Agreed upon repairs were made. The quality of the painting job was first-rate.

The team at Potts is always spot on with their painting quality, speed, and value! We've used them twice now, the first time for our house exterior, and now for our fence staining, and been very pleased with both! Would definitely hire again!
