The following are the low-lights of my experience with Orange Building:
I was told by the person who recommended I work with Brent Anderson of Orange Building that he may have a drinking problem. Unfortunately I was only told this after my terrible experiences with his work. It does seem likely that he was not sober while working on my home.
Unprofessional and poorly executed work. I will never work with this person again.
- Drilled 13 different holes about one eighth of an inch away from each other in a brand new kitchen cabinet. I can only assume this was in lieu of using a stud finder.
- Decided not to work on most sunny days. Explanation, "I'm not going to be able to work today." When I asked why he told me, "Just can't."
- Installed the kitchen tile very poorly: joints are not at right angles.
- Brought his son and father to the meeting where I told him to get his tools and leave.
- Didn't include sales tax on the invoices he provided.
- Told me he would put a lien on my house as an attempt to get paid more - I had to hire an attorney to get that issue resolved.
