Northwest Holiday Lights

Our home always looks spectacular in the winter. They came out and worked with us on the type of lighting - incandescent vs. LED. They custom-cut the light strands once they were delivered (we chose LED - more expensive but longer-lasting and more energy-efficient). They provided storage bins for the lights that we keep at our home but that they pack and unpack each year as part of the service. They've helped us upgrade over the years--adding more strands and changing colors as we like. They insure power access and timer set-up. Each install and removal is arranged in advance by phone--we don't have to remember anything. Any maintenance has been free and guaranteed. They hang and remove the lights quickly, quietly and professionally. They've even brushed out the gutters while they were up there! Although it's slightly more than I'd like to spend, the fact that I don't have to climb up on that 2-storey, 47-degree pitched roof in the winter helps to make the charge well-worth it. I can't recommend this group highly enough. If you'd like to stay out of the weather and still have your home look festive, warm and inviting during the Holiday season, bring Northwest Holiday Lights by for their work. You will NOT be disappointed in this company! So many times when I call, or stop into a business advertising that they do work that I want done, they fail to respond to my phone call or visit. Sometimes they will make appointments to come look at what I need, and then never show up!! The excuse is usually that it's "too small of a job". Yuri and his crew show up exactly on the day and time set - ALWAYS! Since I like my lights up for Thanksgiving dinner, I make a note on my calendar each year to call Yuri and set a time for him to come. Yuri always beats that by calling me a day or two before!! If there is a problem with lights going out or slipping off a couple of the hangers - as can easily happen with some of the windy storms we get that time of year - Yuri is very accessible and willing to come make everything right. I have never waited more than a day for him to respond to my distress call. When you consider how reliable and responsive he is, and also that it's HIM crawling around up on your roof - not you - in the wind and the rain and often in the dark, I feel his cost for this service is entirely reasonable.

It took some time for us to hear back initially, but they had apparently had an email issue, and I had contacted them via a fill in form on their website.
Yuriy called me back after our initial phone call and we scheduled a time. We are new customers for him, so fitting us in was going to be a problem I thought, but he was here on Thanksgiving Eve and had the lights up in no time, as well as a timer.
They've come out once already to replace a bulb that went out, which was really nice as that is one of their features. You buy the stuff from them, they install, repair due to wind damage, etc., replace bulbs, then remove in January - and hold you stuff until the next year. Works great for us!

This will be my third year working with Northwest Holiday Lighting, and I am thrilled with the experience! They come when they say they will, and they stay until the job is done - no worrying about 'the clock'. One time I actually had to send them home, assuring them that it was perfectly alright with me for them to come back in the morning to finish up the job! If something goes wrong while the lights are up - such as because of a wind storm or a heavy snowfall - they are very willing to come out quickly and fix the problem. Yuriy is extremely easy to work with. He offers good ideas, but he also listens to what you want - then he tries to design it exactly like you've pictured it!! This is a GREAT company to work with!!
