DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY This company is the same as Capital Building Group. If you look at their web-site: [*** Link removed ***] you'll see that the facebook link takes to northmen construction. Logo and the person in charge (Travis) are the same. We started a basement remodeling project in June and had a cap for labor cost in the contract for the full remodeling scope. The timelines were constantly slipping. The cost was going up. I agreed to increase the cost over cap to pay for some out of initial scope work required by inspector. Travis agreed on this but then his team just disappeared one day. No note, no call or e-mail. Just took out everything from the basement and disappeared. The remodeling is half-way through. I'm trying to get hold of him for a week with no luck.

After purchase, I sent a msg to the person so set up a time. They responded back with a date about 2 weeks in the future. On a date nearing the day of performance, I received an email from the company telling me there was a mix up with their agreement to Angie's List. That they would not be performing as commissioned and cancelled the appointment. They also said Angie's List would be refunding me all charges.

I got a refund and really cannot comment on the company in any meaningful way, but Angie's List continues to request a review, so this is the best I can do.

The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Travis and his team are very easy to have around the house. They were a very respectful and hard working crew. Travis helped me design the outdoor kitchen and it came out beautifully. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. poured my exposed concrete slab framed my outdoor cabinetry and BBQ surround with stainless steel framing installed stainless steel drop in cabinets installed Eldorado stone all around the cabinetry installed stainless steel doors and drawers their electrician installed outdoor can lighting and outdoor outlets They also framed in the countertops and tiled it beautifully to match the stained T&G above I would absolutely recommend Northmen Repairs to anyone looking for residential products. Travis and his crew are exactly what I am looking for in my contractor. Honest, Creative, and hardworking. I will surely be using them again for future projects.

The service received from Northmen Repais was efficient and professional. The work area was kept clean and safe at all times. At the end of each work day employees removed all tools, extra material, and trash (nails, screws, rags, etc.). Travis was personable and made great recommendations regarding how the deck setup would create a more usable space. The deck is very sturdy and beautifully built. All of the employees were friendly and professional. We love our new outdoor living space!
