DJ was able to come by our house and after discussing our project provide us a written estimate within two days. Once we selected his company and scheduled a date, they began work two days early. The entire project took 4 days – 2 days of prep, and 2 days of painting. We are completely satisfied with the work they did. Our house has a lot of plants surrounding it, and they were careful in all of their ladder placements and didn’t harm any of the landscaping during their work. As part of the prep, they removed all of the fixtures from the house, and what couldn’t be removed was taped completely. The result is the paint lines along windows, doors and between colors are all very crisp (we used three different colors on our house). The quality of the prep work and painting was great throughout. I highly recommend this company.

DJ Lister, the owner, came the evening after I called and listened carefully to our requirements for each room -- paint colors and sheen for walls, ceilings, doors, and trim -- while taking copious notes. They were busy, but worked me into their tight schedule. DJ and his team came the following week and masked, sprayed, and rolled. The project took an extra day and they worked on the weekend to meet my schedule -- new floors were being installed the next week. Their work was excellent. There is no evidence of previous colors, no paint on switches or receptacles, no splatters on windows. After starting, we made a verbal change to the plan for one of the rooms. He misunderstood and painted one wall in that room as an accent wall, when all walls were to be that color. Upon clarification, they repainted the remaining walls the correct color, without grumbling, arguing or extra charges. Their attitude was that the customer is always right. We also had them remove an old intercom system, obsolete telephone jacks, and unused cable receptacles and patch and texture the holes left behind. I can't even find evidence of those holes, and I know where they were. A month later, when my wife came into her new home, she observed that one of the rooms was the wrong color, a subtle difference in shade of white I hadn't noticed. When I informed DJ, he sent a crew that day to repaint the room for a nominal charge. DJ and his crew were always professional and gracious. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Everything about my experience with D.J. was positive. He was the last person I met with after a long and frustrating search for a painter. I contacted about 15 painters from Angie's List. Some met with me, but never provided a quote. Others met with me, and their quote was very high. Some said they were booked until next year and were not interested. Some said they wouldn't travel to my city. One forgot about our appointment, made another one, showed up but then never provided a quote.
I made an appointment with D.J. to give me an estimate. He showed up when he said he would and he was the only person who gave me an estimate right there on the spot. His quote was also the most reasonable.
My only hesitation about hiring him was that he didn't take credit cards. When I told him that, he added credit card service. I call that awesome customer service!!!
His crew showed up when they were supposed to. They were friendly and courteous. I am a single woman and felt very comfortable with all of them. I went to work starting the second day of the project and felt totally fine having them in my home while I was gone.
When I got home from work that first day, D.J. told me my cats did not like the noise from his machine. So he had asked his crew which one of them was a cat person and he sent that guy into the bedroom that my cats were in so that he could settle them down. That was beyond awesome!!!
They did an excellent job painting, did the touch ups I asked for and cleaned everything up. It was a stressful time for me to handle this alone and it couldn't have gone any better.
I don't feel that the "F" they received was warranted in any way. What D.J. said to that reviewer was true. I first met with him in July but didn't start my project until October. The deal was listed in July but he told me the same thing as he told that reviewer in October, he cancelled it but Angie's List didn't take it down. He was not being unprofessional. He was in a bad situation and was being honest about it.
I only met with people who got all "A" ratings on here. And none of them deserved that grade but D.J. He went above and beyond in every way to make a stressful situation as comfortable as he could. And he did an excellent painting job as well.
I highly recommend him and give him an A+!

D. J. and his crew did excellent work.  He was very flexible in his timing, and when we set a schedule he delivered on time and on budget.  I talked to multiple providers and chose D. J. as I had a good feeling and pricing was reasonable.
I plan on using them again.

The job included pressure washing/rinsing with mildew-icide, preparation (scraping, sanding, caulking), covering/protecting all non paint surfaces, body spraying 2 coats (back brush 1st coat), trim (brush coating 2 coats), spraying doors and shutters.  The final price included all paint and materials.  New Image did a beautiful job, on time and at estimate.  The workers were really friendly and professional and took obvious pride in doing the job right. We are very happy customers

They showed up with a team between 4-5 people.  The 5th was the owner and was in and out but also worked on the job..  They painted the walls and also shot the ceiling for me.   They were able to get all done in a day and were very courteous and aimed to please.

This was probably one of the best painting experiences we have ever had.  D Listjer and his crew were efficient, courteous and professional.  The work is exceptional.

• D.J. and his crew showed up on time and ready to go. They did a great job painting the house and got the work done earlier than I expected. I had some additional trim that I wanted painted, but when I mentioned it he was more than happy to come back the next day to finish the work for me. New Images custom painting did a great job and I would  definitely use and recommend the service again! Great job for a decent price!

Really well.  They were available when the weather was just right.  They were very neat and organized and hard working.  Also they were very respectful of my property which I really appreciated.  They got in there, did the job, cleaned up nicely and did not drag out the job.  Nice work.

Found New Images painting on Angieslist.  DJ came out within a week from initial contact to provide an estimate.  He was able to schedule the work within 2 weeks.  He responded to either my phone calls or email within 24 hours.  Overall quality was good.  My initial walk thru after completion found a few things that didn't seem to be completed as written in estimate.  Previous owner poor brush strokes on trims were still visible and question if any sanding was done.  The bathroom walls near edges and corners appeared to have only one coat instead of two.  The bedroom walls near trim seem to have only one coat instead of two.  I provided my feedback to DJ and he sent someone out to do the touch-up.  Majority of the rework were done except for the trim.  Overall, I'm very satisfy with the cleanup, prompt response, minor wall repairs, caulking, and willingness to return for most touch-up. 

New Images was referred to us by a vendor who sold us our carpet when we were doing some remodelng on our house in December 2009. DJ (the owner) responded to my request for a quote and came out virtually the next day to give an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and he was able to start within a week. DJ did such a great job I referred him to my friend for her exterior painting and also hired him again just recenlty for a smaller painting project on my house. I found DJ to be very professional, prompt and thorough. He was very quick to start both projects for us, and finished them within the time he said he would and either under or just at the estimate he gave us. I would absolutely hire New Images again and probably will next year when I have the next painting project!
