 + 3 moreFantastic. Jimmy has always given competetive estimates and works within them. He shows up on time, works hard, and checks regularly to make sure we are happy with progress. He is a very good communicator. He also follows up afterwards to make sure that we remain satisfied with his work.
Description of Work: We have had 4 projects done by Jimmy from JC Home Improvements. Recontruct the roof timberwork (soffits, gables etc) on our large 1906 house (approx. $3000). Jimmy did a fantastic job. He worked hard and has excellent attention to detail. He was very keen to consult with us and ensure we were satisfied. Repair and rebuild our large cedar fance and double gates. (approx. $2000). The fence and gate around our property needed a lot of fixing and Jimmy gave a realistic, competetive estimate. He did a great job and we love how the fence looks now. Lots of great compliments from passers by too! Build a series of 12' high arbors around our fence. ($1900). Again, Jimmy's quote was competetive and his work exceeded expectations. He even put up examples of 3 different styles to help us make up our mind about the look we wanted. Even more compliments from passers by. Convert the area under our 12 x 30' deck to usable, dry storage space ($3000). This was another difficult job and Jimmy did the research. He showed us the options and supply costs (he is very honest and up front with how he comes up with his estimates).
