They did a good job. They are very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. We have been going to them for thirty years.

Pricing seemed fair, so I gave them a try. They looked both cars over and charged reasonable prices for simple replacement items. Timing belt and strut replacement on 98 Honda CRV seemed to go well. My daughter heard an unusual light chatter the next day, they accommodated her schedule immediately and diagnosed as a normal brake sound (which after driving the car I agreed with). Second car, 04 Civic, the timing belt replacement went fine. However 4 days later, the car started missing terribly and the check engine light came on. She lives out of town which makes it hard to get in the shop within their 8-5 hours, so I had to find the problem, which turned out to be a loose spark plug. Only thing I can figure is the spark plug they pulled to check condition was not tightened properly upon re-installation, and loosened after 4 days of driving. Once I tightened the spark plug, the terrible missing stopped, check engine light went out, and the car has run normally ever since.

.I like him a lot. They saved me a lot of money. The dealer recommended, they are doing 2 axels and, this is when I first started with them, and they looked at it and they said well, you only need 1 axel and when they told me how much it was, it was half of what the dealer was charging. They are very nice and I trust what they say. My car is 20 years old and not too long ago, I needed work for safety. They help me decide whether to get a new car or go with the work. The last time he said, well our decision is working so far because the car is still going and they have to put anything else in it. The age, it may fold up anytime. They are very helpful about making the decision.

They have been great. There are a lot of good mechanics in there and we have been using them from a lot of years. They are a small and independent unit. I get oil changes and all other automotive services.

All necessary actions were explained beforehand and accurate estimate was provided. Work was completed on time and on budget. Car runs like it is brand new. This was a manufacturer recommended service for 90,000 miles. I will certainly return for future automotive repair needs.

Good. They are so nice, explain everything, will work with you. I had them give me a list of all that I needed to do - then we just worked on the list as I could afford it.

I have not written about this service because I did not realize that his business was on Angie's List until now. I had been taking my auto to this service for at least two years and thought that the work had been done well. I needed to have the brakes relined on my Honda, and took it in for this service. Afterwards, I noticed a huge amount of black dust building up on the wheel rims. I asked Jay about this and his response was that new brake linings will do that for a while. I had never noticed this before when I took it to the dealer to have this service done. It continued to happen and then I started noticing symptoms of rotor problems. Jay's response was that I must be driving in the mountains a lot and using my brakes constantly. This was NOT true, since I had never driven my car in the mountains and instead used it mostly driving around Kirkland and Bellevue for work. I then took it to two other very reputable businesses for an opinion and was told that cheap brake linings will cause that black dust and heat up the rotors fast and cause other problems. I had to go to the dealer and spend $800 to correct the problem. Needless to say, I was very unhappy with this service in every way.

Overall they are excellent. I would definitely recommend them. They are really upfront with the price. They don't do any extra services. They have been there for more than 30 years.

I was pleased with their work. I would absolutely use them again.

They were fast, reasonably priced and called with updates. Recommended new tires and then getting our rear brakes fixed, prioritzing the tires for safety reasons even though they don't do tires there. The front office folks are very nice and polite, and a nice walk over to the mall for a place to wait. We will be going in soon to get our brakes done, too.

It was my first time there and I will be going back. From the first phone conversation on I trusted and felt respected by each person I interacted with. My 10 year old Mustang hasn't run this well in a long time.They provided several separate estimates for the work and performed a thorough inspection. They didn't pile on or upsell. They did what they said they would do and didn't charge a dime more. Jay's comes well recommended.

We really like them and trust them. They are honest and have given me good referrals when they did not have time to do the work. I once called them the last minute on one thing and they referred me to somebody who was able to take it and they did a good job. They have also referred us on transmission replacement that was needed and we were happy with that. I like their timeliness and they complete the work when they it is going to be done. They keep in touch with us and if there is anything changes or if they find anything, they call us and let us know. They ask us if we want to go forward with it. They also give an approximate price and if it goes beyond, they would give us a call. They aren'' cheap, but I think it is because I'm paying for good work.
