FENA FLOWERS

For the past 25 years, my neighbor who is an outstanding professional florist had provided for our family's florist needs (In 2009, she was flown back to D.C. to interview for the White House Florist position working for Michelle Obama). Unfortunately, our neighbor recently moved to Oregon to be close to her daughter's family which includes grandsons. My research to locate a local florist with a similar aesthetic and capabilities as my neighbor led me to pay a personal visit to Fena Flowers. I was warmly greeted by Katie to whom I explained the nature of the arrangement which I wanted to send to my wife. After spending a few minutes answering Katie's questions, I felt confident enough in Katie's capabilities to tell her that I would leave it up to her to design an appropriate arrangement. The following day when the flowers were delivered to our home, my wife was blown away by their beauty. Katie had hit it out of the ballpark with a tasteful arrangement appropriate to occasion. Based on my having lived in Japan for 3 years as a young man, I have a strong sense that the Fena Flowers' aesthetic and quality customer service is rooted in the cultural heritage of Fena's owner Judi Tsuchida even though I have yet to meet Judi.
