We highly recommend Paul and Empire Drain Co. He was responsive to my phone calls, even on weekends. We had an emergency plumbing problem on a weekend and Paul fixed it before we got a call back from the company we'd used previously. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to work hard to solve plumbing issues. We were so pleased with his services that we had him back to install a new garbage disposal, which went smoothly. We plan to call on Empire Drain Co for all of our plumbing needs and have recommended him to our friends and family.

Paul and the team did an awesome job helping to find and fix a major basement seepage issue. He brought both professional skills and personal determination -- the first day he showed up at our house at over 1,300 feet elevation it was literally snowing and hailing. He wasn't deterred at all and just kept going to get to the bottom of the real problem and had his team out quickly to dig a new 40 foot trench to get the water moving away from the house. Paul's professional and practical advice have put us in a good place for years to come. Since part of this repair was under a gravel drive where a heavy gas truck delivers fuel to our home, he also upgraded our PVC to the heavier professional grade without any additional charge. As a second major task, he brought the right tools and was the first to be able to clear a 12" culvert full of rocks and debris that runs under our driveway. What a difference. He was very responsive and provided service the week after we requested it. He was also reasonably priced compared to others.

Service was fantastic. He came out several hours after I called on the day before a holiday. Knew exactly the problem and fixed it promptly. Slightly more expensive than others might be, but worth it to have the problem dealt with so promptly.

Paul Hakim of Empire Plumbing did a lot of excellent work for me, from changing out faucets and fixing diverters, to replacing a decrepit pressure relief valve and shut off for incoming water to the house, and cleaning the sewer line and installing a clean out. He pays attention to detail, works closely with you to meet your price point, is professional and knowledgeable, and runs a clean and efficient operation. It was a pleasure to work with a plumber who is all of these things wrapped in one great service. I've had some not great service from a few plumbers, and am glad my search is over for good and professional service—I’ll be going back to Empire Plumbing for sure if I have further plumbing or drain needs. Thank you Paul Hakim! I am so relieved to have a lot of work done, and done well!

After receiving a letter of an ongoing leak identified by our water utilities company, we hired Paul for replacing what we thought was a leaky toilet, after talking to several plumbers. Paul was prompt, passionate about doing a good job and was quick in replacing the toilet. He also gave us more recommendations for our house plumbing. Next day, we found a leak in the pipe outside our home which was the real cause. Paul brought his crew and fixed the problem the next day. HE also called utilities and made sure it was a safe job. He took precautions recommended for minimizing COVID-19 risks. Overall, he did a great job on time to fix the leak.

Work was excellent. We now have a new "go-to" plumber. Scheduling appointment was easy and exactly to our needs. Mr. Hakimi arrived spot on time. He evaluated the problem, our needs and offered a new faucet solution. As he dug into the work it was obvious that some problems left over from the previous plumbers who installed the sink was causing extra work and extra labor plus parts not originally assumed. I offered to pay the extra but Mr. Hakimi said that was not necessary. Everything about his visit was perfect.

Paul was great! We told him we wanted to get another supper, he had us call him with that quote and then he matched it. Worked fast and clean, had his partner look at our water heater last minute. Very helpful, definitely saving his business card!

They were very accommodating with my time frame and were able to come and fix the issue I had in my bathroom. The sink was not draining and I had used many different products to no avail. They came in a fixed the issue in less than an hour and I have not had issues since then. I'll use them again if I have any other issues as they worked well and had good rates.

Paul was very responsive and friendly. He was able to come out and investigate our leak shortly after my initial request for quote. He found our problem right away and offered us several solutions.
