Description of Work: I purchased a home in port orchard, wa The realtor Sherrill Sasson lied from the beginning of the process. Pushed me into the sale and put me through h for almost 5 months. In the end they kept 3000.00 of my money and sold the house to someone else days after i backed out. DR HORTON and theirs are awful people

Description of Work: Dr. Horton America's Builder built our home for us. We just finished the construction. I bought a home from them.

Description of Work: We bought a new home from DR Horton and the process went extremely smooth from start to finish. I have bought many properties before and dealt with many real-estate agents. Most were less than ethical. I found the exact opposite experience with Paul Foster at DR Horton. There was a credit that he promised us and later found out he could not deliver. He brought it to our attention but told us he would adjust the price of the home to compensate for it - no haggling or barganing he offered to make it good without us saying a word. He verbaly told us he would get us a certain model of fridge. When we went to the house it was not the model he promised as it was a bit vague when written into the contract. He smiled and cheefully said "don't worry we will send this back and get the one you asked for". Although Pual was working for DR Horton I felt like he was our agent as he went out of the way to make the process very smooth. The house looked very good when took possesion of it and there were only good susrpises. This was an investment property. If I buy another investment property I will definitely consider DR Horton again. In my ratings above I submitted n/a for the quality. Since the house is brand new I will not know the quality for a few years. However, from what I can see they used good materials. I wish the woud have used "red wood" for the trim. It looks like most builders are not doing this now a days.
