Our laptop stopped working. Computronics eventually determined that it was a hardware problem and probably wasn't worth fixing. In the meantime, they were able to recover all the data on the hard drrive, which was the most important thing to us, anyway. The technician was knowledgeable, considerate, and explained each step they took. They spent at least a couple of hours on it, but only charged the minimum one hour charge, which I was pleased with. I'm fairly knowledgeable about computers, and I wouldn't hesitate to go to them with any future problems that I can't solve myself.

Fantastic! They took the time to look over each PC and determined that the really old one wouldn't be cost effective to repair as it still wouldn't have much memory -- just too old. They cleaned up the other PC, got rid of a virus and installed additional memory. In addition, they added spyware and defragment programs and cleaned up everything so it runs nicely. They talked to me at length before repairing and then called me before adding extra memory. When I went to pick up the computer, they showed me how to run the programs they added and gave me a really nice tutorial so I learned alot about how to keep my computer from getting slow and how to protect using the programs installed. I am very impressed and felt like I spent very little for the service I got! I couldn't be more pleased!

They did not try to sell me anything other than what I went in for. They were very responsible and responsive to me. They explained what they were going to do and did just that. When they were done they went over all of the repairs with me again.

By doing the testing first, they recognized the real problem and saved me the cost of having a new hard drive put in (including disk image copy) and identified the real problem and the seriousness of it (replacemewnt needed but okay to continue using until replacement was available). This not only saved me money but also allowed me to have the computer available until the correct replacement part is provided by HP.

Spoke on the phone, gave estimate what what probably was needed. I dropped off my computer. They kept me informed of the progress. Wonderful experience (except I didn't like paying money, ya know!) They found a small twisty tie that had fallen inside, removed it, and it works great! They charged me exactly what was quoted and I am very happy with my experience.

THEY TOOK TWO WEEKS TO REPAIR THE PRINTER. THE INITIAL PART THEY SAID NEEDED REPLACEMENT WHEN CHANGED STILL DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO WAIT AN EXTRA WEEK FOR ANOTHER PART WHICH WAS NEEDED. A BRAND NEW PRINTER ONLY COSTS $219.

"WE WERE VERY UP FRONT WITH THIS CUSTOMER. HE NEEDED A PART WE DIDN''T HAVE. THE EPSON FACTORY WAREHOUSE WAS OUT OF STOCK FOR A FEW DAYS. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THAT. WE TOLD THE CUSTOMER OF THE DELAY AND THE COST OF THE PARTS. HE AGREED TO ALL COSTS BEFORE WE PERFORMED THE WORK. WE DID EVERYTHING WITHIN OUR POWER TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR QUICKLY. IF THE CUSTOMER THOUGHT THE PARTS WERE TOO EXPENSIVE, WHY DID HE ASK US TO INSTALL THEM? IT WAS HIS CHOICE."
