The big remodel in 2006 was all done with extreme professionalism.  I was told " a carpenter will be at your door every morning at 7 until this job is done".  That was absolutely true.  They did not leave us to go work on other projects; there were no gaps while work waited.  All was planned and coordinated  expertly. 
This work was on a century old house with all the usual "surprises" and all were handled with aplomb.    The project turned out to be "fun"-- not expected in a remodel project. They made suggestions we would not have thought of, such as adding skylights to our old dark stairwell.. They  obtained the impossible-to-find cobalt blue quartz countertop I coveted, working with an improbable suppliler from British Columbia!  We painted some rooms ourselves, and the crew were helpful with suggetions for us. 
A few years later we brought Bayside back for a complete exterior paint job. No trouble getting the five (!) colors we wanted, in spite of their original committment being for three.  They didn't add a cost for that change.
This year when the basement floor was flooded, Bayside came and fixed  calmly, in spite of my panic. They even went shopping and found new vinyl flooring to replace what had been damaged by the flood, when I had no time for that.

Great experience. Jock was up front about need for me to move out for 3 months. Kept me informed minute-by-minute. They found "cool" improvements to suggest re my plan, but didn't force those on me. Skylights, for example were something I never would have imagined, while I had no interest in adding laundry machines to the second floor. The biggest feature was that I had "the same carpenter at my door every morning at 7" (as promised) till the work was done. They NEVER left me with work hanging.
