Mabbutt Plumbing LLC

Prior to sale of our residence, we replaced our still-functioning 41 year old water heater with a new unit and had the installation brought up to code (adding a expansion tank, earthquake straps, and a pan with drain). Nick and his assistant did this job promptly and perfectly when scheduled, and disposed of the old water heater).

We have been using Mabbutt and his team for about three years. They are consistent in doing excellent work and having a strong customer-focused ethic. They use quality materials, and always clean up after a job. Their prices are always fair and reasonable. On this recent job they replaced two kitchen faucets, two sink strainers, and fixed two outside leaking faucets. We highly recommend this company.

We were very impressed with Mabbutt Plumbing, the plumbers were very professional and very responsive to our needs and questions, and best of all, everything worked well!! Nick, the owner, besides being adorable, is the consumate professional, and puts customer service first. I highly recommend them to anyone!! Mabbutt sent two plumbers to the house. They entered the house, introduced themselves, and removed their shoes. I showed them where the problem had been with the toilet, but since we had turned off the water, they had to replicate the leak. Once they established there was break in the seal, they raised the toilet and resealed the base.
In the shower, they took a photograph of the cartridge in the hot water handle, then repaired the existing one.
They asked if I would be home later in the afternoon so they could come back and check to make sure the leak was fixed before caulking the base. They also said they had photographed the cartridge so that if I had a problem again, they would know exactly which part to bring.
What I didn't mention to them, as it was not part of their job, was that the toilet seat had been slipping out of position. I was surprised to find that they fixed it - and didn't mention it, or charge me for it.
They did return to the house 3 hours later, and finished the caulking.
I've had plumbing work done before, and usually they say they've repaired the problem and take off. The fact that Mabbutt did the job in two steps impressed me no end.
When I got the bill, I knew I had to add them to Angie's List - remarkable.
