Great work by Stan; fireplace works and looks like new!

Stan came out to inspect a refurbished fireplace we had installed during our re-model. There was a part missing and a slight leak. He ordered the part and came back out to finish the job. I appreciated him coming out as there were not many fireplace techs that were willing to service a refurbished, already installed fireplace. I will definitely use him again if needed,

Fireplace performs as a expected now. It took 2 visits to complete service due to part replacement on 15 year old gas fireplace insert. Stan found the replacement part through a new supplier. Very pleased that fireplace is working again.

He got back to us immediately and then had to order a part (valve). When it came in, he came out and did some checking before installing and it turned out that was not the problem. It was a minor problem with a dirty switch. He fixed and tested that and then he opened the whole thing up and cleaned and vacuumed the inside and even cleaned the glass that needed it very badly. It's an old fireplace insert, so it's very difficult to get the glass off, but he did it quickly, no problem. A delightful personality, to say the least. Highly recommend Stan!

Stan came and was able to fix our fireplace. Another company had come out and wanted to replace a part that they said would cost over $1600! Stan promptly identified the REAL cause of the smell and fixed it. He then cleaned all the parts of our fireplace. It didn't look as good when it was new! He was in and out in 45 minutes. I was thrilled with the results. HIGHLY recommend him.

Two other companies couldn't fix it. Stan asked good questions on the phone, scheduled a time and got it done. Replaced a relatively cheap part and left the fireplace looking better than it has since we bought the house. Price I'm putting below includes the cost of the part and tax.

The service call was excellent!

Stan arrived timely, laid out a cloth to protect the carpet and hearth around the fireplace then removed the glass window and the fake logs.  He then serviced the gas pilot light, thourghly inspected the fireplace, explained the workings of the gas insert (even explained that my wall mount switch will even work even if the electrical power is out to the house).  He then turned the pilot light back on, showed me how to also.  Next he checked for gas leaks.  Finally he cleaned the glass and put it all back together.

We moved into a house and didn't know if any if the three fireplaces were in working order. Stan looked st the first one and realized it had been installed incorrectly. He fixed it. No problem. He checked the next one and it was installed correctly but set up incorrectly. He fixed it. No problem. The third just needed a cleaning. Stan diagnosed the problems quickly and fixed them quickly, While telling cute anecdotes about his family. A great experience all around.

Stan was excellent! I was impressed with his work and professionalism from start to finish. He called before arriving as he promised, he arrived on time as promised. Stan worked quickly but also explained in detail as he went what he was doing, what he was checking for, the logic behind his conclusions and what he was fixing. Very thorough in his approach.
