Semi Concrete

The patio and retaining wall were fine, but he absolutely botched the basketball hoop foundation. He didn't follow directions and it didn't work. I asked him to fix it as his work carries a "5 year guarantee" and he said he would. We made no fewer than 5 separate times to meet and he didn't show to one, giving me an excuse each time. Finally I sent him a certified letter giving him 30 days to comply. During those 30 days he cancelled his bond and sent the letter back unopened. He has not responded to a thing. Additionally, during the work on the patio one of his crew members asked me for gas money. I wouldn't hire this guy to walk a block. Totally untrustworthy.

His crew did an awful job on the basketball hoop base, and three months later we are still trying to fix the issue. Sammy was incredibly frustrating - he was slow to respond, and when he did, he promised me six - SIX! - different times that he would show up - I took off work to meet him - and he didn't show. Not once. He offers a five year guarantee on his work but he is absolutely fraudulent in his promise. I am now out hundreds of dollars because of his lousy work and his "screw you" attitude. I would steer very clear of him.
