We have been working with Rich Design for a number of years on various projects and found them to be very reliable, experienced and oriented to the esthetic as well as the structural stability/durability of a project.
We are a small engineering practice in Kenmore with a German born and educated Engineer of 25+ yrs experience and when ever we teamed up with Rich and Gloria every project turned out to be a well rounded, nicely done craftsmanship jewel of a house. Rich tries to make the owners dreams come true within the limits of a given budget and capability of the existing structure.
When you deal with existing structures you don't really know what you are getting into before you opened the walls and floors, unless you have the original plans. You need someone experienced to be able to assess the possibilities and chances. Rich is able to do that and whatever the obstacles, he will work with the engineer and his own standing crew to make things work for his clients.
Time frames in remodel construction are always estimates. You cannot foresee every eventuality, and rushing things to meet a deadline can result in very expensive repairs down the line. Because Rich is working with a standing crew it can happen that one client feels unattended to while Rich and his team is trying to solve a challenge of another project. That is purely unintended and owed to circumstances.
Every project we had the opportunity to work on with Rich and Gloria and their team had come to a beautiful finish to the satisfactory of the client and we do not hesitate to refer Rich Design Group for any residential project.

We met Rich and Gloria at our Church. We had made a decision to build our dream home at Meridian Valley Country Club.
Our lot shape made it almost impossible to fit the size home with pool on the lot. Rich is a genius with CAD design. He made it work with sure perseverance.
Gloria is not only one of the nicest person I have ever met but extremely gifted in interior design. Working with her is a pure joy. So nice to work with business people with character, honesty and that put the Customer first.
We did however not do the build as my wife changed her mind and wanted to stay on the farm. We did however get thru the total exterior design, interior design and all the choices that comes with it. The follow thru was great. Rich got us our building permit and approval of the Homeowners Association.
We still own the lot. If we ever decide to build on it Rich and Gloria will be our first choice

This was our first experience with a professional contractor/designer and for the most part it went quite smoothly. Of course, it took longer than expected and we did go over budget, but we were very pleased with the results. Gloria's design expertise was invaluable. Rich's layout design of our new kitchen was more than we expected - he gave us ideas we had never thought of. Our only concerns were brought about by comments made by some of the men working here. At times, we felt that our and quot;littleand quot; job was being put on a back burner because of another job Rich Design had (a bigger job.) There were times when getting someone here to work seemed to be a problem. We expressed this to Rich and Gloria and they assured us that our job was just as important to them as any other. The job was completed about two weeks later than expected and it would not have been an issue had one of us not been scheduled for a surgery in July - we were anxious to get back into our new kitchen before that happened and it did....hooray!
We are thrilled with the quality of work and have had many many compliments. Special kudos to Wayne, the plumber....our hero! We are hopeful that we can use Rich Design again in a future project at our parent's home.

They were very slow to respond and spent a couple of months supposedly developing plans that never amounted to anything. Finally we gave up on them and asked for at least part of our initial deposit back since they obviously had little or no work on the project. We never got any response. Their work at other homes looked good but if you use their services get a time line in writing.

THEY, RICH AND GLORIA, WERE THOROUGH, TIMELY AND OFFERED HELPFUL IDEAS FOR THIS UPGRADE. THEY WORKED CAREFULLY TO HELP STAY WITHIN MY BUDGET AND WERE FLEXIBLE TO MY VARIABLE WORK SCHEDULE.
