Painter Dood

About us

I am a one man operation. As such, I control all aspects of the job, ensuring a constant quality level. I do one job at a time (with few exceptions), so your job is not left hanging. I do not spray. All exteriors are done with roller and brush. I charge labor and materials, with a maximum hour charge in the bid. I charge only for the actual hours worked up to the max. No mark-up on materials-you get my price.

I loved the Painter Dood.  And my kids loved the Painter Dood.  Mr. Miller came out and painted the exterior of our home a dark brown color.  It was a light tan, so he had quite a bit of work to cover up all the light to dark.  He hand painted the whole house, twice.  He was knowledgeable on his paints and materials.  We get so many compliments on our house.  He came all the way down from Kent every morning and I am so grateful.  I wish we lived closer so he could do all my painting projects.

If you want a first class old fashioned hand painted HOUSE PAINTING you will want to get on Steven "DOOD" Miller's wait list. The Painter Dood just completed painting our 2 story (rather complicated) home. We are so impressed and pleased with Dood's work. He painted our house with two coats totally by hand. He is slightly more expensive than the fly by night neighborhood spray paint crews but his workmanship, cleanup, vision and detailed trim work. We had asked the local Sherwani Williams store for their recommendation - and we are so grateful to have gotten onto Painter Dood's. I'm pretty confident he is booked up through the fall months for exterior, but might have some openings for interior paint.
