Melo Construction Nw LLC

Melo Construction did a roof replacement for me in Winter 2016. The crew was very polite, and did fast and good work. The new roof looks amazing. The owner was very open to reviews of the work during construction, and explained any questions I had very thoroughly. I found them to be trustworthy, which is important as a single female looking for honest construction firms. The work was done ahead of schedule (2 days for a job that was estimated to take 3), and the clean-up went above and beyond. They blew out my garage, my whole driveway, raked around the whole house to get any nails etc., and when they left my place looked cleaner than it did when they started. I would highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again for other construction work I will need in the future.

Melo scheduled us right away in the next week. Completed the whole thing in 3.5 days. Cleaned up as they said they would. While they were removing the old roof, they discovered the MIL and the carport had two old layers of roof. They contacted us to increase the cost to cover the additional labor and dumpster fee. It was a surprise, but we agreed. That was the hiccup in the whole thing, but we like their crew and the quality of their work, so we are still happy to give them top rating.

Excellent. We received a written estimate one morning and the entire job was finished within two days. Three people worked very hard both days. They could not have been more professional, courteous or helpful. The gabled roof matches our 100 year old home now instead of looking like an addition. They explained everything clearly before the work was started. I appreciated that they consulted both my husband and myself. They made sure we were completely satisfied with their work and cleanup before final payment was made.

They had the old roof off and plywood down and ready for the new roof in one day. Scheduled to put new roofing on the next day. Well my HOA president came by and asked to see my ACC approval form. I did not have one, I explained that other houses had the same product on their houses so I thought I wouldn't need it. He said that I did because HOA had to have a product that was on their list of product roofing. So I grabbed a sample and took it over to Him. It was not on their list. I was floored. I went back to Chris Hartman and told him. He had another product "owen corning ". Went back to HOA president and he said O.K. Chris redid the cost and it was 5 thousand more. I was short about 2 thousand. He reordered the new product and told me he would give me some time to come up with the rest. I then went back to the president with the old stuff and asked him why it was not on their list ( it was a very good product) He said he would call a emergency meeting and discuss it with the ACC members. It was 7pm. I called Chris and told him I would call as soon as I found out the answer. Well at 9:30pm I got the OK. I called Chris and you know what he did? At 9:30 at night he had managed to redo the old order. Above and beyond the norm. I am so impressed by Chris Hartman and his crew ( the crew did a top notch job.) That I would HIGHLY recommend Melo construction to anybody. They even put metal protection over the fascia boards where my old roof did not. And they use a blue tarp like material that is way better than felt. So I am a very, very happy customer. I give them a A++.

Chris was able to come out the day I got in touch with Melo Construction regarding a roof leak. He examined the problem, gave me a quote, and provided photos of the damage. He had it fixed by the end of the week and sent photos of the repair. I appreciated his professionalism and great communication and would highly recommend Melo Construction.

Went great. He was nice and really professional. He explained things in detail. He didn't leave anything. He cleaned up afterward even the driveway. I didn't have to worry about getting nails in my tires. I was really pleased how respectful they were I have kids and they did not even use bad language.
