We love the veterinarian although our dog is passed. They are excellent. He was not only good but I always thought he was really right on. My dog had a lot of skin problems and joint problems so he'd really listen to us and make sure he was really working with us. One of the important things is when he had to take care of the dog in the end, they handled that really well. In fact he was really sick over Christmas and he without really saying he kind of encouraged us, gave him some extra steroids and had us keep him over the holidays. They were very kind about that.

"We understand that cost is a factor when it comes to your pet’s healthcare and we strive to provide the best care possible. The cost of teeth cleanings varies depending on the condition of the teeth. Teeth cleanings require full anesthetic to properly clean the teeth. We do require pre-anesthetic blood work to help eliminate any risks associated with the anesthetic. We also take digital dental x-rays to determine which teeth need to be extracted. If multiple extractions are needed, the cost does increase accordingly. We offer payment options with Care Credit (invoices over $200 get 6 months with no interest) and in house payment plans can always be discussed with established clients facing emergency pet care. We appreciate your feedback on this matter and hope we can be of help to you in the future."

McMonigle's staff is always very caring for our pets. They genuinely love their patients, and it shows. Pricing is always reasonable, and they don't recommend unnecessary procedures.

I was looking for a new vet closer to home for my pug, and visited McMonigle because I had read some good reviews. The staff is very friendly and professional, the offices are clean and pleasant. The prices are standard, but the approaches taken are cost-efficient and the vet, while looking out for my pet's best health, was also concientious of keeping costs under control. My dog is prone to UTI's, and with my old vet, every instance ended up costing close to $500 between the tests, medications and procedures. Here, though, instead of catheterizing my dog for a couple hundred dollars, took him out back for a wee instead - less expensive and far less uncomfortable for the little guy. I am really pleased with this vet, just bummed I hadn't started coming here sooner.

Dr. McMonigle was friendly & knowledgable. As a new patient bringing in my cats for the first time to this practice, both the Doctor, his Vet Techs, and Front Desk staff listened to my concerns and didn't rush me through the appointment. Am happy with the service provided and will continue to take my pets here.

We have been going to McMonigle's with out cats and dog for 6 years now. They have always been very helpful and professional. The cats even like them! They are reasonably priced and a wonderful option for folks in South King County. Sometimes they get backed up in the waiting room, so don't schedule too tightly around your appointment.

SUPER. WE HAVE A DOBEMAN WHICH GENERALL SCARES PEOPLE AND THIS VET IS VERY GENTLE AND KIND WITH HER AND TREATS HER LIKE THE PRINCESS SHE BELIEVES SHE IS. HE TRIMS HER NAILS, GIVE HER SHOTS AND CONVINCES HER TO GET ON THE SCALE.
