+ 0 moreGreat, with wonderful follow-up. Boris checked back in at every stage and communicated well to make sure we were happy as they were progressing.
Description of Work: Boris and his crew with LAJ painting did an exceptions job and even did some extra work where he thought it would be beneficial. He asked me about doing some extra painting on undersides of deck and told me it would be free of charge. I am really happy he offered as I had overlooked painting under the decks in back. He also has been prepping applying oil on my hardwood (IPE) deck out front with touch-ups each year. The deck looks great and is a wonderful addition to the front of the house.

+ 1 moreGreat! Could not have been happier with both projects. Boris suggested great ideas and products. Jobs were completed on time and on cost estimate. Boris was very careful with our property and did not leave a drop of paint anywhere. The caulking (exterior job) was neat and clean. The preparation work (masking, covering windows, doors, deck, ground, natural wood, and carpeted hallway) really showed in the finished products. Boris also fixed dents in the drywall and adjusted the door stops. We have never had better communications with a contractor. If Boris said he would be at the job at 9am he was there and put in full day of work. We could not be at second job site all of the time. We gave Boris a key and alarm code to the house. Boris gave us regular updates and when we visited the project everything was as he had said. Boris is the hardest working man I have met in a long time.
Description of Work: Painting interior walls in some tall and awkward locations. This was inside a log house with lots of exposed natural wood that paint would have ruined if it had be dripped or splashed on. Painting the exterior of a different house including a deck. This is a house on the Washington Coast, two story, with a second floor wrap around deck. The weather is bad and paint jobs take a beating. Two Separate jobs.

+ 1 moreBoth jobs went great. He is conscientious about spending money and looks to make sure that he does everything for you in the most cost-effective manner. He is a very kind gentleman and very easy to work with. I would recommend him for anyone looking to get a project done. Both of our projects came out wonderful. I have provided pictures and I'm very happy with his work. He was recommended to me initially from a deck builder who only builds new decks but does not work on refurbishing existing decksite. This gentleman also had Boris paint the exterior of his home and recommends him to do staining work on deck projects where people want their deck stained. He did a wonderful job and I'm glad I found him.
Description of Work: We have had two projects completed by Boris. Last year we had him refinish Our Deck by stripping the old paint off bleaching it and then staining it. The deck is about 19 years old but the wood was in good shape. He did replace a few boards. He told me it would look like new and boy did it. We also had him paint the exterior of our house and the trim. This winter we had him paint the interior of our home as we have a two-story house large vaulted ceilings, etc. and he did all of it along with accent walls in different colors at our request.
