Edited as of 6/24/2021: I hired Kads to make a drawing so that I can submit a city permit about my driveway. I wanted to go to a professional so that it would be done right. I told them what I wanted and provided a pdf file of the city submission requirements. After about a month and $800, I had my drawing. When I submitted to the city, the drawing did not meet their requirements. The city also wanted another, separate document. I told Kads that their drawing was rejected and that I also needed another drawing. The first drawing needed to be clouded to show the changes. I told them through phone and email what I needed. They gave me another invoice of $585 for the new work. Rather than cloud the original drawing as requested, they made a new drawing that doesn’t match the physical layout of my property. The second document was apparent just a copy of the spec, rather than a full drawing. When I contacted them to complain, they refused to make it right or refund my money. They knew the second document was a spec, but never said anything when I kept asking for a drawing. They said I should have contacted a separate professional before contacting Kads in order to tell them what I wanted. They also said I insulted their design team because I was unhappy with the drawings that I can’t use. So I am out over $1,300 and I don’t have a single drawing that can be submitted for my permit. Their poor attitude, unprofessional demeanor, and ignoring customer wishes make them an awful business. Do not use them.
