He is unprofessional, hires people who have no idea what they're doing. If you hire him he will cost you way more in the end. Everything will have to be tore out and fixed. He will hound you for more money and wants you to pay before he's done. It was a nightmare to work with him and he left a 6' pile of cement waste on my front lawn. Never again!

The business owner, Jose with JC Contractor & Renovations did not follow the rendering and job was not completed to code. There are a large amount of problems with the project. Walked on cement too early and created indentions and cracks, sloped the cement into the house instead of away. Used 2 different kinds of cement that created a two tone effect at one part of the wall. Did not smooth out cement on ground or wall. Wall is completely crooked because they didn't use the right kind of wood for the form to hold the wall plumb and in-line. Left a 6 foot pile of waste cement on my grass and the contract said he would remove all garbage. He took out the forms too early ( 2 hours after pouring) and every step is cracked. All through the project we all talked about it being to code, wall size, step sizes etc. And then in the end it is NOT to code. PLEASE do not use this company. He just kept asking for more money, more money. And the job was so bad it's sickening.

I encountered considerable problems with Jose / JC Contractors. They initially settled on a price and completed the light installation; however, by the following day, all the wiring had come loose from the roof. When I contacted them to discuss the quality of their work, they asked for extra payment to fix the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services to anyone. They are fraud.

This company was very easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable and precise with the renovations I had done. It was a whole house molding and baseboards replacement. So please with the end result. Would definitely recommend and work with them again.

They undertook the daunting task of converting a space above a garage into a MIL Suite and transforming the downstairs area into a workshop, essentially starting from scratch. Great quality work and professionalism. I had 4 rooms destroyed by a hot water tank blowing up. In 4 weeks the gave me my home back and better than ever. I love my new home and thank them for their great workmanship.

Very professional

We had a water issue. Jose came the same day contacted and provided an estimate. They started work the very next day and completed a drain pipe repair, which required removing vinyl siding. He willingly renegotiated the price when the problem was not as bad as potentially first thought. I would recommend this contractor.

They are doing a good job in painting and drywalls. However, I am disappointed that they leave with me loose and unable to close bi-fold doors, loose faucets, unfinished baseboard which I have to hire a handyman to finish the work they left. They are honest to show me the receipts and willing to take off unrelated stuffs as I am paying for the material but they did not leave me any leftover drywalls which I spent over $500 for them. The teams are nice but I do not like the fact that they are rushing at the final hour and give me all those leftovers to deal on my own. Their quote is competitive so I guess it Is that you get what you paid.

Customer service was excellent. They were prompt in arriving every day. There were a few hiccups but they tried to resolve them. I have already recommended them to a friend. They are really good at following the customers needs

Excellent quality of work!

The crew that works for Jose is very easy to get along with. Will do anything to make you happy. Due to covid/shipping delays, I had to wait a little bit. But they are excellent communicators, and kept me informed every step of the way.

Just remember that things cost what they cost. If you want quality work, you have to pay for it. He and his crew do quality work, and are worth every penny. Amazing work!

Overall Satisfied

He over charges. He never brings you receipts. When I finally demanded a receipt he brought me someone else's receipt. He spent over $1200 on tools for himself. He is a thief. The tools he bought were never used on my job. He lies and he doesn't show up weeks at a time. He doesn't show up when he says he will be there. He over sprayed everything he painted and made a mess. He is intimadating.
